How did you get the action figure to go on top of the chipmunk? Is that trick photography?

I know the expression in the last panel comes from cheekpouches chock full of almonds. I know it. The logical part of my brain says so.

Disclaimer: no animals or Army Guys were harmed in the making of this “film”. The Space Adventure Pod of course bit the dust… the Power Seeds were all eaten up… and poor poor Baron von Nuffenstuff… he didn’t make it. His stand-in had to… well… stand in for the promo shot above. (Fortunately, they wore the same sized helmet.) The official story is that the Baron lost his head in the ensuing battle, but reliable sources claim that Rick mis-took the helmet for a Power Seed, took a big bite out of it, and snapped the Baron’s head clean off. Rick was seen later gargling with mouthwash. Seems von Nuffenstuff’s have a nasty aftertaste.

Keep stuffin’ those cheeks Cap’n Rick (Ricki?). It’s gettin’ rough out there in the Galaxy. Just ask the rodents on Wall Street…
