Cute! I believe this is a California Newt. And Fegli, I am inclined to say that newts are salamanders, not lizards. If it helps anyone, lizards belong to the class Reptilia, while salamanders belong to the class Amphibia. Just trying to clarify!

Maybe leetle bug hopes he’ll turn into a prince, no?
I heart newts! How very cute. He looks like he’d glow in the dark.

That is a super-cool picture! Is he posing or what???
What ho! A newt worthy of Gussie Fink-Nottle!
Whee! Wodehouse!
His eyes are all crossed trying to look at the bug.
OOoh, i want his skin colour to be my hair colour.
what’s smaller than a teeny weeny fly?
a fly’s teeny weeny.
Awwwwwwww!!!!! I wanna kiss the little newt nose! Is that wrong?
(He’d have to let go of the fly first, though.)
Meg, that’s two Woody Allen film references in one day. Get out of my dreams, get into my car! (No disrespect to Mr. Meg).
It has always been a toss up for me as to which I liked better, froggies or turtles.
That is one cute froggy.
I think it’s a little frog,
maybe “Mr. Slippery Returns”…all bigger and
“Burnt Orange”…
Berthaservant LOL!
That’s not a fly, that’s a winged ant.
Amazing pic! Lovely colour that newt has.
I’ve had this picture as a wallpaper for several years !
Hee hee hee! This little Lizard McSmilersons would be cute without the bug!
Don’t tell me, ‘cuz it hurts…
it also looks like a fancy newt nose piercing!

Was I right at least about the class Amphibia?
Yo- Totalee- no slamming ‘the Totalee Puppster’, please. Not a habit to encourage. Now, have a great day doing great things!
I love salamanders- we had one living in our front yard-gone now, but not forgotten!
Actually, it’s a ‘rough skinned newt’, Taricha granulosa.
