I agree with the above rant, but in less… um… ranty… tones. I didn’t look at the science, only the cute/sadness and smile/cried.

OMG I can’t stand all you people saying the science isn’t correct! It’s blatantly not supposed to be! It’s a joke people! It’s supposed to be funny/cute/sad! Any idiot would know that polar bears and monkeys never lived together, the zoo isn’t suggesting that. I am a scientist, and I’m always annoyed by bad science in movies/television, but this is so far off it’s not supposed to accurate. If they really believed this they would have the monkeys in with the polar bears in the zoo. Somehow I don’t think so.

Yeah, but you didn’t see the other one, with the snake being carried around by an elephant. There was metal playing in that ad, and the pair would storm human villages, ruining the huts and eating their babies.

At the end of the ad, they go to high-five, and the elephant gets mad because he thinks the snake left him hanging. That’s why they don’t get along anymore, see.

Brilliant! Really cool concept, but I think it’s a little weird that the continental shift is portrayed as bad and putting them together in a zoo is good. They should make it into one about global warming awareness – that ice-cracking scene was poignant and beautiful.
