Honestly christianlady, relax. The world is made up of far more people in this world than Christians, smile a little. No offence was meant by the title of the post. The only offence in it is what you make out of it.

I mean, I don’t get my panties in bunches because the most holy day in my calendar has long been turned into a night of candy collecting.

OK, if I have offended anyone, and you may tell me who you are, I truly meant no offense. I will apologize to you personally. I always take responsibility for my (weird?) sense of humor. It is just that there are so many different beliefs in the world- and as Mark Twain said- I paraphrase- “Be nice to people who believe in a different religion-one of those religions may be right.”
Now, everyone’s religion is ‘right’- religion offers solace and beauty and many good things. What religion doesn’t offer is an unfair advantage or a unfair deficit. Please believe in yourself enough to stand your ground, but not pick a fight. This is a fun place, and although I thought what I was saying was silly and light-hearted, you may be assured that my prayers are heard by God and that they pertain to you, too. Sweet Dreams peeps, I’m signing off for the night.

This isn’t making fun of anyone’s belief in whatever is out there. It’s more like poking fun at people being uppity about something so frivilous as a post on the internet. Which, sadly, a few people seem to be doing. Hopefully, they’ll realize that they’re wasting their time fretting over it when their time could have been used to fight against REAL religious persecution.

christianlady, I hope you’re implying that us “heathens” won’t be able to understand what it’s like to be offended, and that only Christians get offended and made fun of. Excuse me if I don’t mourn for you. I’ve faced even greater bias and stigma from being mentally disabled (something that I was born with and did not choose to have) than when I was a Christian (something that was taught to me and I chose to believe in at the time).

So, am I reading this correctly? It’s not OK to make lewd comments about women’s bodies. But it’s OK to make snarky comments about a persons’ belief in God (or put your religion here)?

It makes me a religious prude by not wanting to see the term “The Lord’s Day” thrown around lightly? huh… It means my sense of humor is lacking? No, I don’t think that’s true at all. I am not offended at all by the woman with the cat down her shirt. I’ve had many a cat down my shirt, and even have pictures of such.
