My hamster died like that. He squished himself through one of the horizontal bars.

As adorable as this is, it also makes me quite sad. This is how my first ham ham passed away Have to be careful of wheels too close to the cage walls really.

Um, I used to keep hamsters. Now I keep rats, which are also rodentia. And I think joking about eating them is HILARIOUS. I mean, I threaten to “rat-a-pult” my rats across the room all the time but that doesn’t mean I’m actually going to do it.

i used to have a hamster who would do that..but the funny thing was..the wheel would be on the top of the cage when he did it…at night i would put the wheel on the top of the cage so he would go spinning in it at 4 and 5 am. it was so cute..i have it on video..RIP my cute little hamster

My hamster does this too!!! I have no idea why.

People who claim to have a mature sense of humor day that because they don’t have one. No one likes admitting their short comings and when someone says their sense of humor is ‘mature’ it’s because they don’t want to admit they don’t have one.

There lots of things other people find funny that I don’t. I don’t think they are less than me because I don’t find it funny. I realize they are just a different person than me and entitled to their own individual sense of humor. But then some people feel the need, to feel superior because that is what gets through the day. Personally I’d rather laugh.

And we do bask in the evanescent glory of all who are better than us.

Patricia – no, your chef friend isn’t evil, but I wouldn’t find it funny. I have excellent perspective thanks, and clearly a more mature sense of humour than you.

Mmmm…grilled ham. I would lofff to pop one of those cuties in my mouf. Perhaps with a sprig of parsley as a garnish…Maybe a little A1…

These hammies are adorable. I love how hammies find unusual places and positions to sleep.

Guess by that reasoning my friend (who owns a restaurant) and has his baby son photographed in a stock pot with veggies around it and a chef’s hat on, is evil too. Man, people need to get a sense of humor. No one is seriously saying cook the hammies and more than my friends is going to stew his kid. If you can’t see the difference you may have lost your perspective.
