Oh, I wish he were mine!

  2. Erebella says:

    Bleeeeeeeeeeen!

    Split personality?

  3. Erebella says:

    Damn, no bleen.

    [...yeah, so? http://www.cafepress.com/puddinghockey - Ed.]

  4. Erebella says:

That’s impressive. The “wild hair” episodes usually comes on so quick, that picture taker must have lightning quick reflexes to catch a shot during the shift. Well done, now HEAD FOR THE HILLS, it will all be over soon!

  5. blair says:

what was your first clue? the prisoner number on his collar from the local lockup?

    (checks out waitress’ butt)

  6. Kris says:

That cat has some CRAAAAZEEEE eyes!!!!

  7. Estlin says:

That’s one cute, big-eared kitty. He looks very playful.

What’s with some people’s agonising over getting a “bleen”? Is that a life mission or something? Give it rest, folks!

  8. jen says:

    settle down, beavis.

so cute. crazy eyes. silly kitty!!

  9. Thomas says:

Oh NO, “was”??? Does this mean no more pics of Mr. Crazypants?

Maybe if we’re lucky the adoptive parents read CO. So crazy, so cute!!!

  10. Erebella says:

    Well PPPPPPPPPPPBBBBPBBPTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!

  11. steppy says:

I want him !!! He would go perfect with my 13 yr old Psycho Kitty I have.

  12. Ri L. says:

Aww, I’d take him if I hadn’t already adopted. He looks like a little monster though…

  13. em says:

My cats came from the bide-a-wee in manhattan! They’re so great, and they even called me like two years later to check up on how they were doing!

  14. Theresa says:

Love, love LOVE psycho kittens! My darling old 17-yr-old Stinky was the world’s greatest psycho kitten. He did the greatest version of the kitty-haka — you know when they get all bristly and their eyes bug out, and they kind of sproink! sproink! sproink! around on stiff little legs?

  15. blair says:

    1. i think the top picture may be a game of toe-mice

    2. there are qwazy kittehs in all the world’s animal shelters. GO GET ONE NOW!

  16. christine says:

    Great stripes on this guy!
Our cat, Bob, is also a tiger stripe. When we first got him one of the names we considered giving him was Radar, because his ears were so huge compared to the rest of him!
P.S. I like the black spot on Victor’s left foot!

  17. leslie says:

Meg — may I suggest that the webpage have two subpages of feline specialties: The Winston Page & [this guy; have we been informed of his name? If so I must have been too blinded by his silly psycho cuteness to notice ...] This one very nearly equals Winston in eccentric wonderfulness.
    Thanks.

  18. JD says:

This kitten isn’t crazy. Victor is clearly a champion “Get The Wrinkle” player.

  20. ThreeCatNight says:

    “Go, Speed Racer
    Go, Speed Racer
    Go, Speed Racer – GO-O-O!”

I can already see an Anime Series on the horizon about Ninja Kitteh, the Kitteh Who Never Sleeps!

  21. Katrina says:

He really does have pointy ears! Cute!

  22. Katrina says:

Does anyone know why cats do this? Do big cats do it in the wild, too?

  23. Theo says:

I think it’s just hunting instincts, Katrina. So, yes.

  24. JNO says:

These pics should be part of an “adopt older cats” campaign. People love kittens but like this one they are a handful!

  25. Erebella says:

Do any of you have cats that chase their tail? Just run around in circles real fast? It’s hilarious. Dogs may fall over and hit stuff when they do that, but cats are beyond that so they can go even faster!

  26. Vampy says:

These pictures have only confirmed what I stated in the other post.

I am in love with this kitteh.

  27. palooza says:

I have a marmie kitten that is doing exactly this every morning at 4 am. My big toes (and sleep pattern) are paying for it!

  28. Aoife says:

Last night I served as a giant cat toy to just such a wild-eyed tabby beastie at my local shelter. When the mayhem ended, she flopped on my lap, exhausted, and I got to examine all the little kitten parts. Big bleen!

  29. Noelegy says:

My Philo, whose markings are very similar to Victor’s, goes through frenzies of biting his own back feet and kicking himself in the head. He also lies on the floor in what we call his “land mine” impression and waits for innocent feet to walk by.

  30. January says:

Still think he looks a little tense. Needs to learn to chill.

[No worries, that comes with time. Like, ten years. - Ed.]

  31. Teya says:

This little kitty has TROUBLE written all over him. Adopter must wear boots at all times and not move while sleeping.

  32. leslie thomas says:

Thanks to Senor Theo for the addresses to other pages & — gee whiz — for such immediate responsiveness!! Four minutes later — we are impressed & (again) appreciative.

[Like I said earlier in a different thread, I'm *professional* now. You're welcome... - Ed.]

  33. Paunchie says:

“Hey little sparta, what’s with all the fight, little bitty kitty want to bite, bite, bite”

  34. momof2kitties says:

This guy looks like fun. I can has hims? Pweeze??

  35. Theo says:

Sumbudy alredy can has teh hims. So sorrys.
    ;)

  36. Paunchie says:

    Professional, what? *clears throat*

    professional cute-ologist I assume. . .

    [You assume correctly. - Ed.]

  37. Floyd's mom says:

    i luvs him

  38. jmuhj says:

He is ADORABLE and I hope everyone who thinks so adopts one (or more) of the adorable tabby kittens OR CATS desperately needing loving, forever homes in shelters across the land!

  39. Lillith says:

Aww, I got my Polly from Bide-a-Wee in Manhattan 10 years ago. She still occasionally gets this look.

  40. momof2kitties says:

Drat, Theo. I wanted hims too. Oh, well. He’ll go to a loving home I am sure. I’m off to watch the Tofield vids for the eleventy-sixth time!

  41. Erin K says:

I’m so glad someone adopted this crazy kittty! I love it!

  42. Lurker says:

    tinytabbytinytabbytinytabbytinytabbytinytabbytinytabbytinytabby

  43. Goethe Helen Waite says:

The nice thing about pix of kittens in shelters is that you can safely assume they are adopted by the time the photo’s uploaded to the ‘net. That little kitty is adorable and a handful!

  44. bad cat robot says:

I’m sure he’s really a good kitten at heart — he just got led astray by comic violence. (the one character really looks like him, too …) http://lackadaisy.foxprints.com/comic.php?comicid=49

  45. Brak_Silverbone says:

Looks like this little guy’s had a few too many espressos!

[um no, that'd be meeeeee - Ed.]

  46. dln says:

Reminds me of a recent post on Craigslist – http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/dal/705407729.html

  47. ding says:

He’s a manic-cat! I have one of these, his name is Fox. He’s 10 and hasn’t slowed down much at all, really.

  48. Moogie says:

I think I’d have crazy eyes like that too if I was being strangled by something too tight around my neck. O_o

  49. chanpon says:

    I <3 him!! He's soo purdy!

  50. fish eye no miko says:

I love that this kitty’s eyes are the same color as his fur. ^_^

  51. Jajeh says:

Kitties frequently suck blankets, often while kneading – goes back to babyhood when they were suckling mama. Could be separated too young from Mama. Could be they just got in the habit. Could be, as badcatrobot suggested above, they’ve been exposed to too much comic violence.

  52. Jajeh says:

I adopted two kitties from the Bide-a-Wee in Manhattan 8 years ago – and they could not be any nicer! For those not acquainted with it – Bide-a-Wee is a no-kill shelter.

  53. chet, ruby, and miaoux's momma says:

hee hee Bide-A-Wee! I love that name!!!!

  54. Wrin says:

    So anerable!! <3 <3 <3

  55. I can’t seem to face up to the facts
I’m tense and nervous and I can’t relax
I can’t sleep because my bed’s on fire
Don’t touch me I’m a real live wire.

    Psycho Kitteh

  56. angelcatbeds says:

I really think it’s great when you post photos of rescue groups’ adoptable pets! It’s enjoyable and a terrific public service.

  57. Vanessa says:

    Psycho Kitty

  58. Theo says:

  59. BeanSidhe says:

Kitteh been watching tooooooo much Robot Chicken.
That is the exact same look the Mad Scientist has in the opening credits.

*puts on body armor, goes for nose-boop*

  60. Minya says:

He did the greatest version of the kitty-haka — you know when they get all bristly and their eyes bug out, and they kind of sproink! sproink! sproink! around on stiff little legs?

I’m so glad someone else knows what this is!!! I had a cat that used to do that ALL the time and I would just about die laughing every time.

This kitteh looks like a whole heap o trouble in the best possible way.

  61. binky-mama says:

This is why watching kittehs is better than TV. Endlessly entertaining and no commercials!

(keel that peenk blankie! KEEL EET!!!!)

  62. Em says:

I luv this kitteh… SO CUTE!

also that craigslist ad had me lol’ng

    :)

  63. Liz says:

    That kitten is WONDERFULLY INSANE.

    I want it.

  64. Subhangi says:

LOL! He looks kinda baked in pic #2, but not in a good way! :P

  65. cheesybird says:

Awwww… Bide-a-Wee looks like a wonderful shelter. I’m so glad you linked to that! I hope it brings them more attention and more folk to adopt!

*sigh* If only I wasn’t allergic (and didn’t live on another continent), I’d be so adopting Sabrina. She looks like such a sweetie!

  66. Jajeh says:

    There’s a regal-looking white cat that I wouldn’t mind having.

  67. Katrina says:

To the Victor go the blankies…
