Bunny is doing just fine, it wasn’t abandoned, or eaten.
(And I’ve never had a manicure, I only file them, and once in a while I use nail polish, but thanks for the compliments!)

[Right. It's not true about baby birds which have "fallen out of the nest," either. Grownups tell kids this to trick them out of touching the wildlife, which I suppose is all to the good, but I think it's better not to lie. Just tell kids they need to trust that mama bunny/bird/badger knows what she's doing, no matter what it might look like to you. Nature doesn't always work like school or dinnertime as you know it. Leave the baby alone, it's just tiny and too fragile. - Ed.]

Just so you know. Now that you have touched that bunny the mom will have nothing to do with it. Once you touch baby bunnies, the mom abandons them because of the human scent… good job.
