One is all adventurous, climbing all over, one is all “don’t hate me ’cause I’m beautiful, and don’t bother me, I’m bathing to be more beautiful” and the third one is all “I’ll just lay here for now and look cute”

Alas!! My daughter still doesn’t want any more pets that we get attached to and then lose, since our cat died a few weeks ago, then her rabbit ran away last week!

We all wanted to pop all those bebeh kitlings IN OUR MOUFS!! Right? SO! Mommy Kitteh goes to the closest one to see what all this Mouf-poppin’ is all aboot and grabs the first one…and thinx, “Nope, still tastes like kitten!” and then leaves to go chat it up with her catty girlfriends. Then Bebeh Kitling that got bitten by Mommy tries HERSELF out and decides, “Nom nom nom nom…nope, still tastes like kitten!” And then the OTHER two kitlings go over to the FIRST and try to catpile her and get THEIR licks in…but that’s when the viddy ends.

OK, I must introduce a new term from my idiot-syncratic vocabulary to describe these larval, squirming fur-balls: they are WORMY!!! This should be self-explanatory to cuteologists: baby animals of any kind are wormy. Soft, stubular, squirming, mush-faced, squinty, vulnerable — in other words, wormy. And when there’s lots of them, they’re a squirming womr-pile, the epitome of worminess. Like these!

I just thought it was less than cute to reference child protective services in a post of adorable kittens! Reporting child abuse just isn’t funny to me. I know it was meant in a lighthearted manner but it was insensitive and showed a lack of understanding for how serious child abuse is. I didn’t mean to be such a downer but I stand by the fact that the joke was not good taste. My husband works for a non-profit finding housing for foster kids and if CPS has to get involved then those are REALLY bad parents and the kid’s lives are extremely difficult into adulthood. Not a ha-ha cute subject in my book.
