No, really, IS there any cuter animal than fennec foxes? I think there is not.
Agree that it looks sort of like a kitten, though. A sleepy, out-of-sorts kitten. Exactly the same facial expression as my cats get when I wake them out of a dead slumber by smooching them on the belly. I would be guilty of waking up this baby to cuddle it, too.

There was also a cute guy with a puppy sleeping on his legs, and a cute guy and a bicycle and some sort of cute animal (such was the cuteness of the guy, I can’t even remember what the cute animal was). It can be the answer to Cats n’ Racks. Nothing is hotter than a guy with an appreciation for a cute animal.

If that is a pet-then I feel this is just wrong.
Something like this should be admonished not gushed over because of surface cuteness.
Wildanimals belong in the wild; not as someone’s pet. That is why we hear stories of people being attacked and animals being euthanized; somebody thought it’d be CUTE to have a tiger, wolf or bear as a pet. Next thing you know little susie gets mauled becuase the animal’s INHERIT instinct kicks in.
People please leave the wildlife (and their rescue) to the professionals.

Some foxes, like this Fennec, can be pets. Similarly, some “domestic” cats can be feral and survive in the wild. (This doesn’t mean I’m planning to kick Mr. Bounce out of the house.)

Renee — conversely, some animals that can’t be pets, *should*. Like tigers, since you mention. I *should* have a pet tiger. (Preferably one that I could ride; we would have a telepathic bond, epic adventures, overcome ridiculous adversity, and ultimately reach a horribly overused yet satisfyingly heroic ending. We would be living legends to our grandkids and grandcubs.)

There are THOUSANDS of domesticated animals that are being euthanized due to lack of acceptable homes, being unwanted etc…
I live in a state that has passed a law which fines owners if they don’t spay or neuter their treasured friends BECAUSE of overcrowding and lack of want etc..
I would hope that someone who wants a pet, think about ones that are already desperate for a home rather than get a exotic one that shouldn’t have been bred for that purpose.
That’s all.
Renee — you know how a cat will sometimes bat a fieldmouse around for half an hour before they get bored, turn it inside out & drop it on your pillow?…
