  9. warrior rabbit says:

Yeah, the ‘safe’ one is hysterical. Dogs are always so pathetic at bath time, but this pugster takes the cake.

Sad thing is, no matter how much you wash that thing, the ugly is not comin’ off!

  17. Theo says:

Ree — I think so. Yes.

  18. Dexter Fishmore says:

    Ree: confirmed.

  19. 260Oakley says:

Generally not a big fan of puglettes but… these pictures touch the big-fluffy-towel-and-bicuits-and-warm-meelk part of my soul. Anybody else familiar with this feeling?

  20. foxy says:

    Ree: I third the confirmation

  21. Having just returned from umpiring a little league game, the second one is PERFECTO (though Ree’s version is also teh awesome).

    I miss Marty Feldman.

  22. ThreeCatNight says:

It’s like Buster Keaton taking a bath or something, and that smile of relief in pic 3 really gets me! :)

  23. Theresa says:

    Ree: BWAH!

BerthaS: You umpire LL? I used to coach first base!!

  24. Theresa says:

omg, that is just so cute! the sad “why me, oh why me” look all dogs do when they are given a bath. it is especially cute on this little black puggy pup!

  26. binky-mama says:

The pathetic face/splayed arms just keeled me ded. I want to wrap heem up in a warm towel that came fresh from the dryer.

  27. Hon Glad says:

    Oh its not so bad after all :}

  28. Monique says:

So cute!!!!! That’s totally my dog in the bath too, it’s amazing how dogs make you feel like a monster for washing them even if they just rolled in a dead pigeon. The little feets slipping against the bathtub, hee hee!

  29. Kuu says:

@Ree: You just made my week. Seriously. Be proud.

  30. pat mullin says:

    poor little guy!
just so sweet and he will be so happy to be dry and outta there!

  31. kar says:

Ummm. What the heck is that in the right side of the picture?

Is that another pup? (otherwise why not use a sink) or is that daddy’s leg?

  32. BeanSidhe says:

This is proof of reincarnation. Marty Feldman came back as a whole species.
    And BWAH! for Ree.

  33. Catsquatch says:

Can someone ‘splain Ree’s picture to me? I feel dum.

(I’m guessing it’s from a movie I haven’t seen or something like that.)

  38. Marie says:

Where do I begin? Every picture is a total CLASSIC. Though I might be partial to the second. Look at those little arms! I’m gonna nom nom nom away.

Ree – I don’t get it, but I want to… (I’m right there with you, AuntieMame.)

  43. Kimbunny says:

Ree — P.S. Growing up, my sister’s name was Anne Marie, but I couldn’t say it right. She became (and still is) “Ree” to me. :)

  44. Adorable – but hasn’t this been here before? Or at least something similar?

I can’t load the puppies page – it errors out, so I can’t check.

Ree, now that I “get it,” it is very funny. I wish my boss was this cute (but less damp).

  50. Poohbear says:

Ree, excellento – I meet people like that at board meetings all the time. Wish they were that cute and funny!

  51. Doc Brown says:

My girlfriend sent these in. This was Boba’s first bath a few months back. And for those wondering, the odd thing in the right side of the 2nd picture is her 3 year old (fawn) sister.

  52. brinnann says:

Congrats, Doc Brown! That’s one cute puppers ya got there! Got links to pics of sister pup?

Very cute! And I’m no pug girl! Nice work!

  54. JasonSTL says:

Cute photo, but next time, try to keep water off their heads when bathing, ear infections are not so cute.

I’ve got two of the little guys. Best pets ever.

  55. Winni-Pig says:

With Ree’s caption, one can really see the commanding presence of this little Churchilian pug!
