The best part is near the end when Taz has all four feetsies in a row on the edge of the… crib?! I about died.

  2. I get those itchies too, Taz. And now I must re-read all the Patrick O’Brien novels–Maturin’s sloth is too wonderful for words.

  3. binky-mama says:

    Gentle behbeh sloth smiles!!!!!!!

  4. joliesmom says:

I don’t get what’s so funny about her scratching her head. They were cracking up! I kind of found it annoying. Did I miss something?

Or maybe I need some sugar. :)

  5. They suckle on each others’ ears?!

Wait, what if those lion cubs are doing something cute right now??
    (twitching)
    (sweating)
    (trying to concentrate on sloths)
    um..
    I have to go.

  6. I think I need to move to Costa Rica. Right now. The bebbeh sloths, they call to me.

  7. “they’ll often suck on each other’s ears”

    I WANT to see THAT.

  8. MOAR SLOTHS!!!!

    That is all.

  9. LMAO at the poor lady trying to make somber point to stoner college boys seeing their first sloth.

  10. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sloth and thought “how cute!” before today. Those sweet little faces though!

  11. It appears this video was filmed at about 4:27 pm.

  12. Hey You Guys!!!

  13. scooterpants says:

i wouldnt want to listen to the ladies babble either.(and i’m not a stoner college boy)
i would just want to PEEK DEM UP!
the blonde one is SO dang cute, and rex (?) is just a comedian!
    adorable

  14. The sloths (2 and 3 toed) in Costa Rica are amazing. Unfortunately, I saw several villagers using them with tourista’s to make money(take a photo give them money). They live in the trees and ONLY come down to poop.

  15. 260Oakley says:

They come down out of the trees to poop? Now that’s what I call considerate. I mean, these guys are adorable, but I’m not sure how I’d feel about picking slot scat out of my hair.

  16. Were frat guys filming this?

  17. awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwfasdflkjasdlkf

every time y’all post sloths, I fall in love EVEN MOAR. omg. *loves*

  18. love, love, love sloths! That lady needed to stop talking, haha. I so needed this after a day of romantic blah!

  19. Raemie L. says:

Nevermind Bevis and Chucklehead’s voices. The lady sez the bebehs nom on each other’s ears! Would be great if someone captures that on film.

  20. Sloths!Sloths!Sloths!

Holy crapulence. I lurves me the slothersons. They’re so damn cute, and that little smile.. keels me every time.

  21. You mean, deadly sin. Deadly. Any big sin can be mortal, but there are seven deadly sins, of which sloth is one.

  22. You mean, deadly sin. Deadly. Any big sin can be mortal, but there are seven deadly sins, of which sloth is one.

  23. The smiles! I never knew how much sloths look like ET.

  24. /me sings itchy scritchy sloth to tune of achey breaky heart because she is a sick, sick person

  25. AlbertaGirl says:

Bebeh sloth tongue alert at 00:47!!!

  26. fish eye no miko says:

She named a sloth, “Tasmanian Devil”? If she owned a ferret, would she call it “grey wolf”?

Anyway, the slothies are very cute!

  27. I couldn’t stop laughing out loud. Those guys actually made it funnier. Lighten up people. They don’t have to be “frat guys” to laugh at that kind of thing.

  28. Julien Sharp says:

I think the frat boys were annoying myself.

  29. hon glad says:

Sloth was trying for sticky up up hair do, he just needs some gel.

  30. Yeah, they’re annoying. I wanted to hear about the sloths!

  31. muffintop says:

Yeah, I agree with whoever said those dudes are acting like frat guys.

If you’re going to see sloths I’d imagine you’d be interested in hearing the caretaker speak about them. They keep laughing over her. It’s frustrating enough that they pulled my attention away from the behbehs!

  32. Sarmonster says:

So…They’re super adorable and aweosme, I love sloths
…but I can’t help but think that sloths are Monkeys with down syndrome?

  33. Oh goshness, I have had to rearrange my favourite animals list….there you go slothies you are now officially second on my list…. See you’re not always last for everything :)

  34. Kimbunny says:

Does anyone else remember “The Dark Crystal”? These guys look just like the creatures in that movie!!!

  35. Creepy as hell…

  36. I’m relieved that I’m not the only one who was annoyed by those giggling guys. They were that close to cute bebeh sloths and not once did they try to cuddle them! But… I’m happy they made this video, though.

  37. It sounds like some frat boys took a field trip to the sloth house.

  38. SQUEEEEEE!!! Smilingk behbeh slothlings! I am keelt.

  39. Cutest moment is at 1:36, when the eetchy sloth has a kilroy moment.

  40. girlnextdoortn says:

Slofs are my new favorite animal. We have a slof at the zoo, and she likes to be carried around and her favorite treat is grapes. I think I get to pet her today. (Summer job at the zoo.) Her eyeballs look like little brown jellybeans and they stick out, and when she blinks they pop back in, then pop back out. :D

    Squeee!

  41. May I posit the possibility that she/he was grooming her/his fur rather than scratching an itch? They are so tiny!

Gillian-”Kilroy moment”- so right, so right. I’ll never look at Kilroy the same way again!

  42. katiedid says:

OMG the part where he lifts his legs up is so freakin cute.. haha

  43. Come on people lighten up good lord.
I know if I had been there filming it, I’d be giggling and oooing and awwing over that woman.
OMGosh! The guys were having fun and laughing at the cute sloth scratching! Oehnoes! *rolls eyes*

Anyway… bebeh sloths FTW!! SO freakin adorable!! I just love that lighter colored one when it starts climbing up the side. I wouldn’t have been able to resist not picking them up!

  44. Ermine_Violin says:

    gAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH

    yup – gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh

that’s all i can think of

  45. Kimbunny….I so see the creatures from Dark Crystal! Maybe that’s where Henson got the idea! Jim Henson was the Master of Cute! Ok, now I have to watch that movie when I get home.

  46. wagthedogma says:

    “OK, doodies coming this way…”

    THAT’s a keeper! :D

  47. Ermine_Violin says:

    http://www.perezosoproductions.com/store.htm

You can donate to the Sloth rescue center at that website :D

You can also view more videos of the babies!!! (at a different place on the site.)

  48. He looks like ET :)

  49. =/ I want to keep baby sloths at my house

  50. Rooanne says:

I can’t believe no one has commented on how they seem to move in slooooww mooootiooon…

    or is it just me?

  51. anomalous4 says:

    Get that bebeh some Lanacaine!

  52. TurboFloof says:

    Must. Have. Bebeh. Sloff.

  53. GAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    did I already say that?

I want to see the full unedited version!
    GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  54. As would we all Ermine Violin, but it take three days to view it! I’m still stickin’ to my grooming theory.

  55. The laughing frat guy didn’t bother me – I just think it’s cool that they went to an animal sanctuary and were interested enough in the animals that they filmed it. Stoners or not, they’ll never forget those slothies…nor will I. What cuties!!

  56. marie_n says:

dark crystal still creeps me out. i hate how it is usually thrown in with labyrinth. i loooove some david bowie. also, i have a friend whose kitty sucks on people’s earlobes. her kitties are named big kitty and little kitty. it’s little kitty that sucks on earlobes, big kitty licks the bottom of the bathtub. quite disturbing when you’re trying to potty.

    beautiful baby sloths!

  57. Jenny Islander says:

The slow-motion scritching was cute, the rather distracted expression was darling, the way he could sit on his spherical hinder and nonchalantly reach over the top of his book-shaped head with an apparently endlessly bendable hind limb to scratch another itch was as weirdly interesting as a Gumby cartoon, and the way the sloths can hang there with all four pawhooks up by their cheeks is just bizarrely amazing. But what tipped it over the edge was the camera pan at the end that revealed that these were baby sloths the size of cantaloupes.

Cantaloupe-sized unflappable Ewok mutants of cuteness FTW!

  58. …which is usually abbreviated CSUFEMOCFTW, naturally.
