Lucy – this is exactly what I was going to say! I’m a cat person but this pup made me melt. I must know what breed he is! I googled it and Michelle is right – he does look like a staffordshire, but I want confirmation. Actually, I just want a clone of this guy.

I think he should be named Pupbassador to Canada. He has that pupbassador/welcome wagon kind of vibe.
But I am also opposed to this doggeh putting himself on the dating market. It’s bad enough I have to compete with all of the thinner, younger, richer, more hair on their head men out there. (Please note that I refuse to yield any ground on sensitivity, generosity, intelligence or sense of humor). I don’t need a doggeh with nommable ears scooping up the last few babes.

I’m with those who think he’s some kind of Am Staff mix – if you replaced Curtis’ black markings with tan brindle, Curtis would look a lot like our current foster Am Staff/bull-type doggie.

Curtis is actually an English Staffordshire Bull Terrier, “Staffy”.
He’s settling in nicely with our two others, same breed, his Auntie Reilly, and his Big Brother Hector.

Hi Everyone. Yes, this little cutie is from a long line of English & American Champions. He is a pure bred Staffordshire Bull Terrier. One of only a handfull the AKC lists as excellent with children and known as the “Nanny Dog” in England.
