I’d bet $2 that is a siameezle kitten. (If you pleezle.) Lovely and yes they are born with the needles on their pawsies. Makes you wonder how mom survives the nursing. And as always, I’m obsessed with the delicate whiskers!!

That is a Siamese, or other such exotic, cat almost certainly. I would love to cuddle, snorgle or otherwise caress the little babe. But I still don’t understand how people can joke about eating these creatures. I know you peeps don’t meant it literally, but the idea just turns my stomach.

As a certified professional food manager, I must object to this.
First of all, that kitten is obviously being served raw. You don’t have certification to serve raw kitten. Your facility is not properly equipped, nor is your staff adequately trained to serve raw kitten. So knock it off.
What’s more, I shouldn’t have to remind you that you must never handle table-ready foods with your bare hands, and that jewelry needs to be removed before working in the kitchen.
Also, that thing is covered in hair.
You cannot KNOW how tempted I now am to redo the photo’s hovertext to say “EAT ME, BITCHES”.

I work at a vet clinic where we routinely have litters of stray kittens that we fix up and adopt out, and I often get cravings for a “kitten melt”. Just a few minutes under the broiler with some aged cheddar? Mmmmmmm.
Pearl, it’s an expression of endearment. There’s an old James Whitcomb Riley poem “Max and Jim” where a mother thinks her boys are so sweet she’ll “haf to eat ‘em!”
I’m warped too, then, because I’m always telling my sweet doggie that I’ll have her for dessert b/c she’s made of sugar. Then I ask if I can just please nibble on those silky litte ears.

I threaten to eat my cats constantly…and there have been a few times I have taken a nibble out of them…ended up with a mouth full of loose fur, but it was well worth it!

Well (duh) now that I see the rest of the photos, of course it’s a “Siamese” kitten although being a traditionalist, I really don’t consider anything but the short-hair ones “real” Siamese. Those cats in the photos are truly beautiful however. And the babies adorable (natch).

Speaking as a self-appointed spokesloris: we do not want to eat the cutelings. We just want to taste them. (Possibly in this case, just as it is with just the very swiftest of glides over the soy sauce, or possibly that’s just me.)

Just looked through the whole bunch of photos of Iris and Tristan (him as a tiny baby?) and they are soo beautiful! Want to nom them…Turned into gorgeous cats.
At that size could be a baby panther otter or bear.
The little head! The tiny feet! The toe beans! The looks my co-workers are giving me as I try and climb into my computer screen!
