Suddenly, ignoring the class boundaries that society had placed between them, he took his chance and tenderly kissed her ear.
She closed her eyes and drew a deep breath. She was transported back to that summer on the Rhine, when her heart had been stolen by an uncouth, yet roughly handsome porter.
She gazed at the tradesman’s strong, muscular shoulders and felt a old, but familiar stirring in her bosom.
“This new cabinet may take some time to build,” she thought to herself.
Thanks for the kind comments I had writer’s block this week so when I saw that pic and thought of the story, I had to get it down and share it! It was done quickly, hence the slight errors. I hope Berthaservant doesn’t mind my approximation of his witty, wonderful prose
