Wow, Mary Ellen, the resemblance of our two kitties is uncanny! But I’m not sure how welcoming my Sissy would be to her long lost sib. She’s a little feisty even with her brothers and sister sometimes.
BTW, she’s super sweet and even has a cartoonish little meow. It’s her Persian-ness that makes her appear unhappy/ready to attack, though she really did want to go outside when I took this photo. She’s a pouter!
So do all persians have a permanent look of ticked-offness? It’s very cute and funny! Cracks me up.

This kitty reminds me of my favorite kitty ever, Romeo. He just passed away in November after 14 years as my faithful friend an companion. One of our favorite nicknames for him was “stormy cloud kitty” because he could pout like you wouldn’t believe. But he was spoiled rotten and adored. He just loved to pout and fuss. It reinforced his power, I think. I always thought his pouty looks were cutest, too, and they often garnered enormous amounts of snuggling.

berthaservant, my kitty’s name when I first adopted him was Animal, after the muppet. I changed it though because my friend’s dog is named annabelle and we kept getting their names mixed up.
