Maybe if you put really important documents in the cat tray, your cat will sit there (and chew on them, naturally). Also, your nicest black sweater would do the trick.

The setup as displayed would work perfectly if the cushion was replaced with a freshly laundered pair of pants in a color that contrasts with the kitteh’s furs. For the Orange guy, I would recommend a pair of nice black slacks. It does beg the question though, do clean folded pants trump the keyboard?
