I was waiting for the cute baby animal to turn up, like maybe a kitty jumping on the ugly kid’s face, but it never happened! Was the movie cut short??

If CO starts posting baby pictures, everyone’s gonna flood the submissions with their kids. Next thing you know CO turns into “look at this cute kid in a bonnet” and it all goes to hell.

I wish that if people didn’t like something on CO they would keep it to themselves or send an email to Meg yourself and don’t ruin the rest of everyone’s fun.

Seriously, nothing against this one in particular, but babies do not belong in my dose of cute! They’re disgusting. They belong on uglyoverload, and yes it exists. If this site is going to feature spoiled fetus on a regular basis, I’ll stop visiting. There are plenty of other sites for that.

Dismayed – I don’t know how the army got involved in this thread, but I’m going to discount your argument based on that alone. We should not be catering to the army in any way(they already have the run of this country–and several others).

marissposa, the one thing Youtube has given families (and even pet owners!) is the ability to share the little moments of their lives with loved ones who are too far away to share all of them.

Not so long ago, a father or mother who was away on business would miss moments like this. An aunt or uncle, a grandmother or grandfather, a brother or sister… families are spread so far apart these days that little videos like this make a huge difference.

Think about the soldiers and other folks who are out of the country, overseas, missing their families terribly. And if a teenaged boy is so worried about his sports buddies finding pictures of him in the bathtub at age 2, just imagine how he feels about the locker room! Ha ha!

Intimating that you are somehow asking for your child to be torn apart in an internet forum if you post his/her videos online is like saying “She was asking for it.” I think you get my drift.

It’s never nice or okay to be mean, and that goes for “both sides” of the people who are being cruel and nasty in this argument.

the comments are here for a reason. if Meg didn’t want them, she would shut them off. so i guess she wants to hear what we think. but peeps telling others that their opinion is “wrong” or that they need to change seems inappropriate. disagreement is healthy, so long as it’s done with respect (and not too many bad words).
