Yes, yes, squish face is adorable, but has no one pointed out the hilarity of the kitteh being under a big pillow?! So adorable! He/She was really deep in snooze mode, and silly two legs had to go poking. I love the stretch before the face clap. It’s similar to what I do upon waking up, only I smack the alarm clock.

Aesthetica, did you notice how, after the face rub, when the kitteh was drifting back to sleep, the camera simulated that by going in and out of focus? So many nice touches.

“Dear all, thanks so much for posting and viewing this video here. Yes, he’s my persian cat, and his name is Didi (means “small brother” in chinese). I shot this video when he was just 5 month’s old (he’s now 1.5 yrs old). The cusion you saw was in fact very small in size and light in weight(it’s a mini cusion bought from IKEA). And the background – his snorting was mixed with some “technical” feedback probably generate from the DV itself. I didn’t notice it until it was playbacked >.

In my mind, it would have been a lot funnier if that cat had been snoozing solidly through the clattering of an old-school dot matrix printer…that’s what it sounded like to me, anyway, until the massive purring kicked in. Hee.
