I’m crawling up your pantleg and you are powerless to stop me

Hey, nice pajamas by the way. I shall now shred them TO PIECES

Jussssssssssss kiddin’ Roxann L. JK.

  1. Wow, nice perspective!! O.O
    *high fives the paw*

  2. Poohbear says:

  3. Look at those bluuuuuuuuuuue eyes!

  4. Michelle says:

This is honestly the closest a photo has ever come to killing me.

  5. ARGGG! This kitteh will be the death of me. So.impossibly.cute.

  6. Hon Glad says:

Ehn Ehn, you are in my power.

  7. Gillian says:

    Super cute!

Our bad cat does this same very cute thing. 😀

I much prefer the climbing to the anklebiting.

  8. binky-mama says:

“I weel climb the Mt. Everest of pajama legs to be in your arms. I MOOOSTE be in your arms.”

FYI: My heart just melted into a puddle

  9. “Im tired from watching all those videos, lets go to bed in whats left of your pajama leg.” >^_^<

  10. It looks like part of the pajama leg is his little bedtime hat. Adorable!

  11. Electra says:

Oh noooo, it’s like watching a scary movie!

*peering through fingers as the killer creature from outer space gets closerrr and closerrr*

  12. Jennifer says:

EEEE!!! What a nice pic to wake up to! 🙂

  13. aww, who’s little?

  14. That paw!
I is ded from teh qute.

  15. cheesybird says:

  16. Why, it’s the poster girl/boy of kitten cuteness!
Note the big, beautiful eyes – setting a high standard there. Then the soft, whiskered fur around the mouth, and the little, moist nose. The delicate, upraised paw, with the teeniest of claws poking out. And then the KILLER BLOW – the big, furry ears.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is True Kittyness.

    Ehn! I keel you. Ehn!

Beautiful blue eyes, incredible perspective – this is possibly one of the best photographs ever on CO.

  18. i gotta say- the baby was not climbing a pantleg, he was swaddled in a christmas blanket! i also wanted to note that my friend zack is the person who took this picture, i just located the kitten.

  19. acelightning says:

The earnest expression… the tiny paw reaching out… the blue eyes that match the flannel…

    That’s it. I’m dead.

  20. roxy, he’s a beaut! I’ll bet he likes to lay on your neck and purr, too. Reminds me of a catboy I had many years ago. I still miss him despite the others I’ve had since.

  21. I call matchingks because:

    1) The eyes go with the blanket.

    2) The pointy eyebrows match the pointy ears.

Squeee. 😀 I could really use a cute kitty to snorgle. It’s been a really bad week.

  22. AWWWWWW to cute

  23. snoopysnake says:

(Celeb Apprentice reference) “Trace got me this shiny black claw polish. I think you should have fired Piers.

I love this blue blue blue eyed kitteh!

well I’ll say this… I’ve definitely, absolutely been there… and they GROW, peeps. Kittens do. And their CLAWS grow. As difficult as it (really really) is, you and everyone around you will thank you later if you start encouraging good habits now, so later on, kitteh clearly makes the distinction between legs and tree trunks, once he weighs FIFTEEN FREAKIN’ POUNDS.

  25. Nicolletta says:

Hmmm…I have a few minutes before I clock in…what’s on Cute Overload. Oh look, a cute kitty! Oh noes! Kitty…too…cute…eek!

Great, here it is the busiest day of the week and thanks to this kitty I have melted into a puddle of goo at my desk. My boss is going to have a hissy fit and it’s all CO’s fault!

  26. P.S. — ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ litl climby kitn ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

  27. crazy weinerdog lady says:

    nyerrrrh, I wil GIT you!

    ACK! so stinkin cute!

  28. Holy. Cow.
As if that FACE wasn’t enough to do you in, now we find out he is SWADDLED IN CHRISTMAS BLANKETS???

  29. metsakins says:

the only reason why I am still alive is because they didn’t show his belly! However, I keep imagining this little guy on his back his those paws up and the belleh exposed.

    *starting to hyperventilate*

  30. Ah, the feeling of kitten claws going into my leg!! It’s been too long! 😉

  31. Yitzysmommie says:

ACK! I am Ded of the Qte induced THUDS and I haven’t even finished my morning dark caffeinated beverage!
Roxy, that is some fine kitten there. Kudos to Zack for one of the best kittingk pictures I have ever seen in my long happy life filled with kitten picture looking. You have made my WEEK!

  32. Heehee, I love how wee kittayns turn Theo into a blubbering pile of goo.

  33. here’s some more pictures of him to whet your whistles!

  34. Marianne says:

  35. In Awwwe says:

::too busy with trying to make this the background on my computer and every document I own to comment right now::

  36. I am utterly hypmonotyz-ed by him! My poor cat doesn’t understand why I suddenly needed to snorgle her senseless.
By far one of the best CO posts EVEH!

  37. What a gorgeous little thing!

  38. skyweaver says:

    *gasping for air*

You know you really should post a disclaimer with posts like this. “Not responsible for loss of life upon viewing of image.”

He looks like he’s a-gonna eat me. Though I think all he’d really get is my pinky toe before he falled asleep from kitty ‘zaustion.

  39. ohhhh mmmmmm. such blue eyes. such tiny pawsitude. such snorgability.

  40. ThreeCatNight says:

I MUST have the pajamas – I will look so good in them! You are in my power – look deep into my eyes! The power of the mini-paw commands you, human slave!

  41. katiedid says:

awww.. his eyes are so cute!!! I want one!!

  42. This is my death gob jabbar. Become familiar as you will see it often.

  43. turbofloof says:

ooooo…. those blue eyes just looked deep into my soul – and all they saw was a melted puddle of my former self….

  44. stubbedoo says:

I iz climbing up your leg and will EAT YOUR SOUL!

  45. Oh ma’ gosh! I love love love dis’ kitteh!

  46. Soooo cute!!! Awesome picture!

  47. he is saying “are you SURE you want to eat that last piece of tuna? hmmm?”

  48. marsheeeee says:

I checked out the picture gallery you posted, Roxy..how old is this little adorable creature? He’s tiny! Is there a story behind these pictures?

  49. charliewabba says:

Thassss right, little kitteh, just keep crawling up here so I can POP-YOU-IN-MY-MOUF-AN-EEET-YOU-UP!!!

  50. the other night, i was getting a bottle of water at a pizza place and i heard crying. i looked down the stairs (where the restrooms are) and saw him down there! i went down to pet him and he immediately climbed the leg of my jeans. he was WAY too young to be away from his mom, and the staff at the pizza place were being super sketchy and saying someone was coming to get him, but i called a few friends and we convinced them to let us take him.

4 of my friends took him in and they are taking excellent care of him! he is about 3 weeks old and can’t eat solid foods (they make him kitten formula and feed him every few hours) or poop on his own yet ! he can, however, purr, clean his paws, make biscuits, and play.

his name is darby, by the way.

  51. Left paw raised… is he a Maneki Neko? Good Luck Kitteh!

  52. maggieb_tpa says:

What a little heartbreaker! I’d love to know the backstory – such a tiny, sweet, adorable . . .

  53. Poohbear says:

Aww, c’mon, Theo, they stop doing it eventually, waaay BE-fore they reach 15 pounds. And in the meantime, it’s so cute. You just have to wear your armored pyjamas and such for a while. One of my little fosters climbed up my pant leg when I was sitting at breakfast, curled up, and lay there purring and shivering, looking up at me with those blue eyes. He was telling me, Mommy, I’m sick! He was five weeks old and had a fever but the vet saved him and now he’s sleek and thriving. It’s me who never recovered. That’s why I’ll never teach them not to climb…

  54. Poohbear says:

@Roxy : thanks so much for saving him! He’s only three weeks? Gonna be a Monster! Might have some Maine Coon in him.

  55. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! *passes out*

What a sweet wee tiny kitty!

  56. riolinda says:

awww… look at that little face!! too cute! 🙂

  57. OMG! He’s so CUUUUUUUTE!! I want to snuggle him!!

  58. Those eyes are adorableeee!!

  59. chanpon says:

Cuteness level set to kill. Furry, playful, swipey paw armed and ready.

  60. Roxy, thanks for the back story. This is definitely one of the best photos on CO!

  61. Melinda says:

Awww, that brings back memories of my sweet departed Albee bean. He used to do that! Sniff!

  62. That’s right, they are the cat’s pajamas after all.
Darby is a great kitty name.

  63. carololz says:

I just noticed the perfect M on his forehead! For mushability, perhaps?

  64. That is amazing! 🙂

How much set up did that take?

  65. GOOD morningks little rescued orphink Darby cat, all wrapped up like an Xmas present, here to KEEEEEEEEL us all with TEH QTE.

    awesome work, roxy and pals!

  66. Tim V. — if this kitten’s a climber, as he appears to be, probably the only setup that was needed was to grab a camera before walking over close to the kitten.

  67. Susan B says:

That is so cute! Great photography skills Roxann 🙂

  68. berthaslave says:

Definitely a top ten CO pic. It reminds me of the puppeh in the grass the other day (which is my current desktop image, about to be replaced)…that “Rawr” motion is possibly a new category or rule of cuteness? “Making a ‘rawr’ motion even though you are teeny” is pretty much inherantly cute.

  69. da face! da FACE!!!

  70. Mary (the first) says:

Not to be a partypooper but it’s possible he was just walking along on something with blankie and they took the pic and turned it sideways. Regardless he is (needless to say) absolutely adorable. ALmost makes me want a baby kitten again. :: sigh :: Thanks to Roxy and friends for saving little Darby!

  71. Mary (the first) says:

oh wait.. I now notice the wood floor . Must have been blinded by the delicate claws/whisers and overall cute! So I guess he is climbing.. go Darby, go! 🙂

  72. MaggieBee says:

    I GET 4 U.”

  73. sunnymum says:

The teeeeeensiest of necks seem to be supporting that uber cute kitteh head! This owns me!

  74. Desdemona says:

I know from Roxi’s comments that the blue flannel is not really a pajama leg, but the look on baby Darby’s face gave me a memory of my own Heather, many years ago — She was about 3 months old and frisking about on my bed while I dressed for work. I had just pulled up my pantyhose and stood up, when Heather decided to make a pounce from the bed to my pantyhose-covered thigh. The expression on her face as she gazed up from her hooked-in position (hose plus skin), was a little like Darby’s, but I know she was really saying, “Um, so you think maybe this wasn’t a good idea?. . .” Heather lived to be a ripe old age of 19 before she went to kitty heaven about 5 years ago. But I’ll never forget that incident (I have the scars to remind me).

  75. Purrito in Blue Period. I’m absuhlootlee DEVastaited.

  76. THAT PAW….and those EYEEEES. damn. that is cute.

  77. Noelegy says:

I am having a deeply crappy day, so I was in dire need of The Cute. Thank you.

  78. my friend’s kitten, roger, does that too, except he gets a running start and climbs us while we’re standing. sometimes, if he’s feeling extra rambunctious, he’ll dig his tiny fangs into the sensitive backs of my lower calves. holy hurties.

  79. leah b. says:

    I screamed *AWAAWAAAAAWa
and of course my four legged kids were immediatly jealuos( I spelled it wrong)and then I had to may kitteh new backround image. then spend ten minutes telling my guys I love them the most….. Sir Theo is one funng guy

  80. oh nyo.. head to asplode.. teh cute… AAAAAAhn~ *is ded* x_X

  81. Juniper Jupiter says:

  82. I love that one raised paw with the claws all ready. Ahnggg. Agghh.. kitteh!

  83. Totalee Puppy says:

    got any pants leg…an even
if I did got a pants leg,
    that don’t mean Im fallin
for you..or mebbe does…help! Losin my heart here…did I exseed

  84. Yitzysmommie says:

I nominate Darby for the next calendar. Or the first CO book.

  85. Shannon says:

Roxy – thanks so much for helping this bebbeh out. (To your friends too) I sometimes feel like I am the only one who gives a darn where I live!

And this photo is def one of the top 10 of CO. Without a doubt.

  86. i had a kitty that would climb up my pants like that… so i named her squirrel 🙂

  87. Ooooh Kay00t!!!! And look at those lil weapons of mass destructions on that pawsie! 😉

  88. Roxy, will you give Darby a little kissy from me? What a gorgeous baby! All my furry children are too big for this sort of thing.

  89. Tiger, Tiger, burning bright
In the forest of the night,
    What immortal hand or eye
    Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder and what art
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And, when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand and what dread feet?
What the hammer? What the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? What dread grasp
    Dare its deadly terrors clasp?
When the stars threw down their spears,
And water’d heaven with their tears,
Did He smile His work to see?
Did He who made the lamb make thee?
    Tiger, Tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
    What immortal hand or eye
    Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

  94. Ledasmom says:

My sixteen-year-old cat used to do that when he was little, therefore his name: Edmund. He gave it up long before he hit his current size and took to riding on my shoulder instead.

  95. how you get your cat to pose like that…………!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
