I am so delighted over this video. I usually shut down every device that blasts rap tunes but this one was different. A handsome young man with an extraordinary love for his cat, a cat that is something else again (in a good way though), a lovely tune, and a genius who put it all together. I’m not comfortable with the white guys rapping about the cats for some reason. And the comments about the performers cuteness. We men are very sensitive about our looks and hope that we can be judged on the basis of our personality. So what if these guys have “hair on their head” and are “skinny.” Does that really make someone cute?

Meowandwoof — I was afraid I was the only one who’d seen [and cried over] the SPCA “Echo [pre-adoption]” ad … When the new one came out, I started to mute it, but when I saw that it was different, I rewound the DVR [LOVE that technology] and discovered it’s all good for Echo! Yay for his new family — wonder if they saw his previous ad and decided on him because of that!

That SPCA ad made me BAWL too! So does the Pedigree ad about “I know I’m a good dog…” There’s also an old Iams ad w/an Irish setter named Casey whom we see “aging” throughout his relationship w/his person. OMG the tears are welling up right now gotta go…
The “I know I’m a good dog” is the Echo one, isn’t it? Yes it always got a lump in my throat and the joy in his voice (David Duchovny, yum) when he “gets out” always gets me mooshy also.
Re: the videos, I thought this was cute but didn’t completely understand all the words. It sounded like there was some kind of break up going on?? and someone would lose the kitteh. Also that guy (cute as he is) could use some pants that fit him. Am I an old fogey? I guess so.
