They are so wee, and so innocent, and so fragile, I don’t understand why people are afraid of them … well, yes I do … they’ve got sharp teeth and they’re not real fast learners (like cats are) … so it takes a truly curious person (like the first person to eat an oyster) to find out how sweet they can be. But just give ‘em a chance, and I promise, you’ll love their sweet,musky smell just like a new mother loves the smell of the top of her baby’s head!
Abdrea, I’ve often wondered, who was that person anyway, and why? As for the ferret, he’s just about the cutest little guy ever!

I have been of the opinion that the mustelids have been far too underrepresented here on CO, so I am very, very pleased to see the little knee-sock-with-eyes posted today. What a sweet little thing. Now if I can only get some of my knee-socks-with-eyes posted on this site.

My older son had one about 20 years ago, and she was sweet. She played with our cats and was a lot of fun, but she did tend to smell like she needed a diaper change… sadly, we lost her in a house fire. RIP, Sammi.

I had to come back to this sweet-faced critter’s pic to try to kid myself into believing that these little Thievey McFerretsons are innocent. I made the mistake of charging my cell phone within reach of one my little furry knee socks and now I am missing a cell phone. And the charger. And since the power was off, it’s not as simple as just calling my cell phone to listen for the ringing. Ah, a small price to pay, I guess for the love of fuzzy slinkies.
*sniff* This little fuzzbutt looks just like my dear old Loki…how I miss my eight fewwets!
