Reminds me of my dear Chiaro, a black smoke with fur Fendi would kill for. Dark, soft black coat and a white undercoat. She’d just ripple when she moved.

My big cat just licks plastic bags. Well any plastic she has an irristable implulse to lick them. She never chews on them, but you get sneaky wet plastic unexpetantly. Nothing like a hand full of kitty slobber.
He was half-off because he’s only half-done. This is a black kitty dipped in white, see? I have a half-off kitty myself only mine is a white kitty, dipped in grey…

Homer, there is no point in buying ANY cat bed, I’ve found. Every single one of them has been studiously ignored. The only proper place for a cat to sleep is wrapped around a human head, preferably at 3am in a heatwave.

a friend of mine has a teensy siamese mix. she is cream and light-beige with pussywillow-colored markings on her ear and toe tips and has crystal blue eyes–very delicate and meek-looking and extremely SKITTISH..
one day she was sniffing a plastic shopping bag, saw us, FREAKED and ran off, but in the process had caught the handle of the bag on her foot causing the bag to make a loud noise, which scared her even more so she PEED into the bag she was dragging around with her as she scampered off.
the two of us almost peed ourselves laughing so hard, but at the same time saying ‘awwwww poor mi-mi’
There’s something about cats and sitting on plastic bags.
It may be a girl versus boy thing. My late girlcat was a FOOL for sitting on plastic bags. But my boycat runs away at the sound of them, afraid of the environmental commitment a plastic bag might entail.

I have a picture of my boy, Lint, sitting on a plastic bag like this. He loves to steal them from the storage bag and lick them all day on the kitchen floor. When he gets bored with that, the sitting and laying begins. My mom dubbed one his “new girlfriend!”
His new buddy, Loki, has a habit of stealing plastic bags, too. He’ll meow and complain when you bring groceries home until you toss one his way. I found him completely inside one, curled up next to my bed and stalking me! He never leaves plastic bags whole if he gets his claws on them. That makes it a nightmare every time it comes to scoop the litter box…
ha! my cats do this too.
the funniest part is that when you come in the house with plastic bags making their plastic bag noise, or shake one near them, they take off like you set their tails on fire. five minutes later, there they are, laying on the very same bag that terrified them only moments before. cats are kinda dumb sometimes.

Why do cats always seek out anything on the floor/table that isn’t the same material as the floor/table and sit on it? Even if it’s a stack of newspapers or a plastic bag?
They love the crunchy crackly rustley sound! I gave up sewing for several years because my feline owner couldn’t resist shredding the patterns and I didn’t have the heart to shut him up in the other room.
J: I think it has something to do with elevation. I once tried an experiment–I placed a SINGLE 8.5″x11″ sheet of paper in the middle of the floor, and naturally enough, that’s where the cat sat himself down and made himself comfortable, as opposed to anywhere else in the room. Go figure.
