[Dreaming] there must be a good costume out there for me…

But… I shall look later…

Kitt_o_lantern

Jessie S., that kitteh is gonna taste like pumpkin.

Comments

  1. bleen. very cute.

  2. circuscake says:

    sleepy time…

  3. I think the pumpkin is fake–no cuts where the lid would come off. Kitty is real though, real tired.

  4. darkshines says:

I love how kitties ear perfectly fits in the pumpkins nose!

  5. moths_are_scary says:

the pumpkin doesn’t have to be fake…when I carve pumpkins I cut the bottom off so it’s easier to put the candle in and light it…and you don’t see the cuts as easily. Cute kitty, though..I also love the ear-in-nose-action!!

  6. cute pic, but hard to believe a cat would sleep inside a damp stanky pumpkin. how did it even get in? thru the eyes, maybe. cute but suspic.

  7. Yay! Soo cute… can’t you just hear the snoring?

  8. fish eye no miko says:

Awww… pumpkin kitty! And yeah, the ear-nose thing is just too perfect (purr-fect?)!
I love Halloween! Keep the pumpkins and costumed critters coming! A few unusual/scary-but-cute animals would be nice, too. ^_^

  9. Cutting the pumpkin from the bottom not only lets you hide the cuts, but it is way easier for ones that are being used for candles. Candle goes down and lit first, then the pumpkin goes over it, rather than trying to put a lit candle inside it, or lighting it while it is inside the pumpkin.

Definitely pumpkin (nap/sleep) time for this little kitteh!

  10. FAKE!!

  11. who CARES if it’s fake or not?

focus on the cute stuff, people

  12. fish eye no miko says:

I agree, pinkwerewolff, whether the pumpkin is real or not is completely unimportant. Discussing if it’s real or not is one thing, but acting like there’s something wrong with the picture if it’s not makes no sense. it’s cute either way (imo), and THAT’S what important. ^_^
BTW, how does a pink werewolff spend Halloween?

  13. Oh that is an amazing photograph just in and of itself!

  14. The cuts could be at the top…we really don’t have a good view of the top enough to tell. And that bottom cutting does sound like a good idea.

    Anyways…cute sleepink kitteh!

  15. berthaslave says:

It’s like Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin!!

  16. Allegra De Angelo says:

is it just me, or does that pumpkin seem waaaay photoshoped to perfection?? you can’t see the inside, the cuts are perfect…. hmm…

  17. It’s OBVIOUS that the vicious pumpkin-monster has the kitteh in its mouf. Which is my job! *grabs the kitteh and runs*

  18. Don’t just stand there! Help the Kitteh!!!! Clearly, Pumpkinhead is back for another flic and is taking the kitteh as his first victim!

*puts on Sthuperhero cap* I will rescue you, Kittums!

  19. PumKitteh!

  20. PumKat!

  21. cavvie's and sapphie's mommy says:

The bebe kitteh is clearly just gehsausted from carving the jack-o-lantern. That’s hard work for such tiny clawsies.

  22. Peter,Peter, pumpkin eater,
Had a kitteh but couldn’t keep ‘er,
He put her in a pumpkin shell,
And there he kept her very well.

  23. Fake or not, that pumpkin is awesome.

    Punkin carving, anyone?

  24. metsakins says:

    G1 mitchell!

peeps focus on the delectabuhlness on the dangling paw!!!!

Its rule 25 peeps! Rejoice for rule 25!

  25. Reminds me of one of the Halloween “Get Fuzzy” comics where Bucky’s costume was just him in a jack-o-lantern.

  26. Andrea|Nash says:

But how? And why? Do you feel soooo safe in there, little kitty?

  27. Umm. Really cute but now take the top off so that kitty can get out.

  28. fish eye no miko — I don’t know. How?

  29. Punkin Puddytat Timbit.

  30. yankeebird says:

    *giggles*

Pheas, I don’t think that was the beginning of a joke, though I suppose one might be able to create a good punchline.

One of the posters on here was named pinkwerewolff.

Of course, it’s possible you saw all that, were making a joke, and I didn’t get it because it’s 2 am and I’m tired, and now I’m overthinking this so I’ll just shut up and get ready for bedzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz….

  31. The Australian vet I took my cat Gladys too, always called her Pumpkin. Sigh she is no longer with me, nor is the vet at the practice.Och well.

  32. The pumpkin could be cut from the back too (a pumpkin cat carrier?) and cleaned and dried well, it could work, and kitty is clearly very relaxed… you can’t force a cat to be comfortable, can you!

  33. The photo isn’t fake, they used a “Funkin” instead of a pumpkin. BRILLIANT, really.

  34. That is TOO precious! :D

  35. Of course the pumpkin is fake. However, that doesn’t make it any less cute. NO kitty is going to goo up his/her fur!!! However, the fake pumpkin makes a splendid place to nap…and the kitten is soooo cute and totally wiped out! :)

  36. ThreeCatNight says:

A Kit-‘o-Lantern – comes in petite, small and extra-small to ensure a cozy fit!
One of the sweetest pics I’ve seen in a while – Happy Halloween everyone!

  37. … how the heck did it get in there?

It MUST be cut from the back. What did the owners do? Cut it from the bottom, plomp it over the kitty, and wait for him/her to stop freaking out and fall asleep for a cute photo op?

    *scratches head*

  38. lil cute lil baby!

  39. BROOKLYNN says:

THAT IS SOSO CUTE! I JUST HOPE YOU DONT FORGET TO TAKE THE KITTY OUT OF THE PUMKIN BEFORE YOU MAKE PUMKIN PIE!!! LOL! BUT I THINK I KNOW HOW YOU GOT THE KITTY IN IT. YOU CUT THE BACK OFF OF THE PUMKIN AND STUFFED THE KITTY IN THERE! HAHA. NICE PHOTOGRAPHY!

  40. BrookLynn — you might wanna check your Caps Lock key. Just sayin.

  41. THEO MAYBE BROOKLYNN WANTED TO BE LOUD!

  42. This pic was in my local paper a few years ago. I have the clipping somewhere.

  43. This photo made my day-I’ve got it on my desktop right now!

  44. Cat-o-lantern!
