Those pics packed SUCH A PONCHE, they almost stopped this site in it’s tracks. If I was ever an evil superhero, you could use a Pomeranian as Kryptonite against me… (er, something…)

OOoooh I’ve always wanted a pom-pup. There was this pocket pom named Jack who used to live near my dad.He *loved* to lick and he had the teensiest tongue… That tongue would go RIGHT up my nose. X3;

i used to hate little foofy dogs like this, due to the stereotype of the little yappy yuppie dog, but then i started working in a pet store, and they’re just so darn sweet!! And one of the women I work with has an older one, who has just about the sweetest disposition i have ever come across. My little Princess Roxy! now i have to go make Sue bring her in soon!
and trin, right there with you on the wolfhound love… i saw a 6-month old baby the other day who was almost eye level with my chest. big puppies. but again, sweetest disposition! so precious.

I am so into the pommie love. I have been looking for an elderly pom to adpot (it is very important to me to give a forever home to an unwanted, senior dog).
And can we just say “heck no” to the designer mutts?
So. I HAVE a Pom, named Kizzy. She IS anerable. She is always the first of our 4 critters to greet me at the door. She loves to kiss and would lick you all day long if allowed. She does NOT like our hardwood floors and backs up across the scary slippery parts (v funnee to watch). She flicks her dry food out of the dish ONE PIECE AT A TIME onto the carpet and plays with it and then eats it! She is an impressive protector dog, barking madly at anyone foolish enough to walk in the road in front of our house. And she follows me everywhere, sleeping on a pillow beside our bed.

Pom’s are my Favorite dog and they are excellent pets. My late puppy (Grampas Little) Mischief was wonderful. and he was cute as a button. Plus he was a gift from my grandpa… what more could you want. He lived a long and happy life. He was best friends with our cat and loved to run figure eights outside.

I looked at the older puppeh pix, with the leetle pommie and his chew toy. I tink it’s hilarious how puppeh chew toys resemble human infant “edutainment” toys. It cracks me up. I used to make jokes about tying the leetle legs together and using the pom as a powder puff. But I now see the error of my ways. I HAVE changed! Sushi made me!
I’d like Poms more if the ones I’d met hadn’t been such blasted yappers. My husband says that when they bark, they go backwards from the recoil.

Ahh! Sushi and I have forgotten to check cuteoverload.com lately and here she is! She’s sitting in my lap right now totally oozing “diva” out of her fluffy little pores.
The bizarre thing? She’s a year old now and still just as cute. Her nose got a little longer and her fluff less cotton like in appearance, but she’s still so cute I want to CHOMP HER UP (I named her Sushi because when I got her she was a pound and cute enough to eat).
Also, in response to THE ONE NEGATIVE COMMENT (ily all so much =D ), I wish I could show you how spoiled this dog is. She comes with me to work and my professors let me have her in class. We’re literally joined at the hip. Arooo!
Also, Gina, I am soon breeding Sushi to a black pom stud named “Tazmanian Devil” who IS a dashing devil, with a lightly and gracefully dusted grey muzzle who thinks Sushi’s vivaciousness is moderately entertaining.

Gonna have to agree with DarrylsMama… don’t breed your dog, especially if you are not a professional breeder. Too much could go wrong.
My mum used to breed dogs and I work at a vet clinic. I’m aghast at the idea Sushi is the last in her line! I wouldn’t breed her, only my little brother practically got on hands and knees and begged for a Sushi puppy. It’s going to happen one time, and one time only. She was from a litter of two, and she’s only four pounds full grown now, so I’d imagine she’ll have the same amount of poppies. And I already have homes for both of them.
On the note of poppies not having homes, tho, if anyone lives in Idaho or Salt Lake, the Idaho Humane Society has rescued TWO HUNDRED poppies from a puppy mill in oregon. They’re mostly small breeds and are thought to be purebred, and they go up for adoption wednesday morning at 10am. I really want to adopt another pom, but I’m in the middle of a move so I’m not sure…
