at the texas state aquarium i got to meet odie!!! i just thought odie was so cute when i first saw him. We heard his story at sea camp and we all felt sooo bad for him. I saw him on this website and thought OMG this is odie!!!
He looks to me like he is saying, “Surely you don’t want me to get in there? It looks cold!”
you expect me to jump in that? hell no.
Otters are my favorite animals in general (with honorable mentions to dogs, prairie dogs, squirrels, hedgehogs, and other critters with moist nosicles).
Odie is the cutest creature ever featured on this site. I have forwarded him all over the place now.
I too was thrilled to learn in HP a while back that Hermione’s Patronus was an otter. I believe JKR said in an interview that her patronus would be an otter, and that’s why Hermione’s is.
And if Odie were willing, I think he could star in an all-animal version of Hairy Otter and the Bucket of Ice.
OMG they found him “nestled against his dead mother.” Sad start for the guy. But soon this cutie patootie will be swimmin’ with Gwynivere, a nice female otter at the same place! The ear to head ratio and the mouf are killing me!
Actually Step Four would appear to be what the curator of marine mammals and birds at the Texas State Aquarium euphemistically (and VERY amusingly) calls “the howdy era with Gwynivere.” *hic*
