Cute Overload :D
Dr. Seuss is sooooo great, kids, but you know what would really put you to sleep?
A little Tolstoy, heh heh. Let me introduce you to my leetle friend War and Peace.
Carol A., that pup looks like a Mensa member.
I think e looks more like my grandma!
Is it, could it, would it be? My favorite Dr. Seuss book, is that what I see?
One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish. This one has a little car and this one has a little star!
Puppersons has great taste in books! Aside from Tolstoy that is…kids..watch the Audrey Hepburn/Henry Fonda version!
In middle school I actually DID try to read War and Peace before bed to put me to slepp😛
Looks like a puppy librarian to me. Even the over the glasses “you kids had better shut up” look.
That poor dog looks like he has been reading stories for a long time. Poor doggie.
War and Peace is hard going, sure… but if you want to put the kids to sleep, my recommendation is classical music.
Not the 1812 Overture, though. Yes, the name “Tchaikovsky” might sorta sound like “Tolstoy” a little, but it’s not enough.
Yes, that’s a children’s librarian who’s been reading to LOTS of kids’ groups and is going to go mental if s/he has to read that book one more time today…
Isn’t it “The Foot Book,” that he’s reading, Suzanne?
“Bartholomew and the Oobleck” was my favorite Seuss book.
And when my older sister was tiny, she liked to read “Don’t Jump on Daddy” (aka “Hop on Pop).
I love the way the eyes look.
“Don’t make me come over there and tell you to be quiet.”
this poor pup is like “why? Why do you torchure me? why?”
“Left foot, right foot.
Feet, feet, feet,
Oh how many feet you meet.”
Yes folks, I has chillins!
Dogs aren’t meant to wear glasses! If they aren’t his prescription it could STRAIN his eyes!!! I can’t believe CO would post something that’s so obviously ABUSE!!! Look how he’s trying so hard to look away and not look through the glasses!
Sorry I had to try it. I must say I feel crazy and refreshed.
Someone looks like he’s ready for some advanced readings…
Meeker shall I put up a pot of puddin’?
I bought some tapioca today…
Dr. Suess is my favorite author evah…
but I’d be hard pressed to pick my favorite book…
Thank you metsakins, but no. I’m fine as I am for now. So kind of you to offer.
oh my! What kind of dog is this? Anyone got a link to a better picture? It looks like my sister’s dog and we’re trying to find out what breed she is (we got her from a shelter).
Librarian dog fosters literacy.
This doggie is just waiting for the new Harry Potter book to be released.
“Hairy Potter and the Deathly Hounds”?
BTW-ONLY 21 MORE DAYS!!!
w00t to Harry Potter.
did anyone mention the paw pads peeping out?
LOL. She’s all like “What, another story this time?”
she is a sweet little bichon/doxie mix. and yes she thought the library was way too chaotic- thus the rolling eyes!
I have a 8 month old mini wirehair, looks just like mine…a living wind up stuffed animal….
this is a wirehair dachshund for that person wanting to know…looks like a mini…if you have never had one, they are the greatest !
CADE she is gorgeous.. They let you take her in the library!!!. Hmmm Must move to where you live… This would make THeresas Library dogs foster literacy TRUE. Yep Thats where I want to live.
Now I’m not sure where it is but there are programs where kids read to dogs. I believe the dog comes into a school and sits with the kids while they read outloud…
Something like that and the kids really like it and so does the dog but I don’t remember the details….
Those are the most expressive eyebrows EVER!
this dog has the cutest of noses too and those eyebrows..swoon
Katie says: well ur dog aint cute but very funny as eva yh.
