  18. This is a yellow-spotted boxfish (yes, even though it’s not very yellow). I used to have a 140 gallon salt water aquarium, so I’m familiar w/ tropical fish. This is one that no matter how cute it is, you do not want this species unless you have a MINIMUM of a 600 gallon tank. They are popular in the trade because they are so stinkin’ cute… and like all puffers (it doesn’t puff up much, but it is of that type of fish), they are highly intelligent. You get attached to them, then they get so big (up to 20″ long), you have to get rid of them or they will be miserable in a small tank. Some puffers that are also awwwwdowable don’t get beyond 4″ long at maturity. I had a fingerprint puffer I adored, but he apparently had internal parasites when I got him and he only lasted 6 weeks. *sigh* That was a smart fish.
