Awww I have an Australian Cattle dog too! They also go by Blue Heeler. The ones with the long hair are Australian Sheppards. And you are right when you say it looks like aDingo pup becuase they have Dingo in them. I may be a little judgmental becuase i have one, but best dogs ever. Eventhough mine is old now and spoiled rotten!
I just want to tuck it into the crook of my arm, and kiss and nuzzle that sweet little head. Too much!

Blue Heeler! We have one that is several years old and a real b*tch in her own right but I love her to death and right now she has 2 adorable 2.5-week old pups, their dad is a Catahoula/McNab.. not that any of you really care, lol, but I just wanted to jump on the I LOVE HEELERS train.. we also have a red heeler male that is the funniest gentlest dog EVAH (which I understand is NOT a common trait.. gentleness).. I love them both to bits!! (and of course our 2 Catahoula/McNabs).. (and the 2 puppies).. (and our 2 house cats)..
there is something i have to share. this picture made me smile and my heart GLOW. why? because my 10 year old australian cattle dog, Y Z, was recently diagnosed with a very aggresive cancer. he is the light of my sky,my sol, as i call him, and he has been with me since i left home. i have been having the worst case of the “blahs”, while he feels better following major surgery last week. thank you so very much for making me look at his not-so-old face and remember when he was new and i was young…
The ears, of course, and the Princess Di look, goes without saying…
But I just want to point out the very demure little paws!! I would have to either tickle or kiss those little paws, which might cause them to be pulled back and/or tucked under, but I don’t care!!

I know that you humans lead busy lives. Some have to work. Some have children to raise. It always seems like you are running here and there, often much too fast, often never noticing the truly grand things in life.
Look down at me now, while you sit there at your computer. See, the way my dark brown eyes look at yours. They are slightly cloudy now. That comes with age. The gray hairs are beginning to ring my soft muzzle.

UPDATE ON MIA!!!! My friend just called me to say that she found Mia this evening after she got home!!!! She’s in great shape and looks like she has been eating somewhere along her travels… Mia’s refusing to tell her Mommy where she’s been since Friday, but Mommy doesn’t care now since Mia’s home…
Mia’s Mommy wanted me to pass along a huge hug and thank you for all the prayers that were sent out from the wonderful group!!! Some of you emailed me asking me for udpates and that really makes love this group more than I already do…

Savvyminx– 1560×1600 is precisely twice as big as 1280×800. Usually the desktop will resize it for you (try the “stretch” option), or you can use just about any image program to resize it yourself. Widescreen gets twice as much love, *obviously*.

thank you thank you for sharing that!! i have never even HEARD of a “cotton top tamarin” or a “lesser panda” but geez they are beautiful i am so SO glad i got to see them. i LOVE the cotton top tamarins. they are now one of my favorite critters. kitties are first of course. but now i can add cotton top tamarin to my list. perhaps because they resemble kitties. i still don’t know what they are? monkey? anybody know for sure??

Tamarins and marmosets are itty-bitty New World monkeys. Seriously pocket-sized fluffy cuteness, especially when Mom has teeny babies on her back.
AIIIEEEE!!! HEELER PUPPEH!!! I gots my heeler bebeh (well, four years old) a-snooze next to me on the couch They never stop being cute. This one’s a Texas Heeler so she’s half Aussie shepherd. They are freakin’ catlike. She is disdainful and loves to snuggle and loves the tummy rubs. I never knew her when she was a pup so this picture will have to do. My workplace will just have to deal with the squealing and screen-snorgling.

This is our baby Elly…at 6 weeks old. I needed a pick me up and my wonderful husband brought her home to me and she did just that, and continues to do just that… SHE is a pure blue heeler pup…one of her eyes has white eyelashes the other black and she is as adorable and snuggly as she looks but definitely NOT shy!
