We have these birds in Orlando too. I got my 3 yr old to call them “Freaky Birds”. They’re kinda freaky to someone who just moved from Boston

I dunno if I’ve ever seen these guys or not. There were often unusual birds hanging around on MCAS Camp Pendleton (in Oceanside, CA). On Oahu too. Does anybody know if this species inhabits tropical climes?

Yowch-kilt ded by puns. Death by puns is not how I wudda chose to die. By cute, or chocolate mebbe. But puns? I ken just see me standin around in heaven when everyone is comparing notes- so how’d you die? Oh, I choked on a werthers original, old age, my ex-wife, etc. But me? I’m gonna have to say Puns.
Oh, and Mr. Masters, we just love Melbourne Florida. We have been spending a lot of time there this past year visiting the best Dr. for autism in the country, Dr. Bradstreet. If ever you visit Melbourne, go to the library, because they have a pond that is full of tiny cranular birds, ibises, ducks and chickens! My children kept asking if we could go back to the library over the beach!

Like Susie, birds generally freak me out, but for some reason, I am absolutely in love with this little guy.
