I love frogs. Especially florescent-colored frogs. Especially when they are stacked on top of each other. Especially…
    Oh I just love frogs!

  7. alivicwil says:

    They’re not poisonous, are they?

    http://www.nashvillezoo.org/redeye.htm
    No mention of poison here

  8. Lone says:

If its shopped its an excellent job. Maybe 3d render? Anyways, life has to be a challenge with such a blind spot :P

  9. Kelli says:

…I really just want this to be real. I love the thought of some nutty photographer stacking tiny frogs. I’m that kind of nutty photographer.

  10. Michael says:

Looks real. Check out the square reflections in each frog’s eye. If it’s fake, it’s a really good job.

  11. Lakia says:

I’ve had this exact picture on my notice board above my laptop for years. Although my copy is a little faded.

  12. Aubrey says:

Those little dudes are forming a tad-totem-pole.

  13. fish eye no miko says:

    Toad-em pole? (yes, I know they’re frogs).
    KAWAII!

  14. Molly says:

My favorites are the one in the middle and the one on the very top… It’s like they’re the only ones who realize we’re watching.

  15. m u f f y says:

i feel like i licked some of those psychedelic toads and now i’m SEEING these froggies. this pic is too outrageous!!!

  16. Stina says:

Its ‘shopped. Look at the middle frog and the top frog closely, namely the light reflection in the noses. They’re mirror images of the same frog. Doesn’t make it any less cute tho! =D

  17. Subhangi says:

    LOL!!! I like Teh Totemfrogs.

  18. Julia says:

They actually look kind of plastic to me. But, again, still cute =D

    SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

  28. On the far-away island of Sala-ma-Sond,
Yog the tree Frog was king of the pond.
A nice little pond. It was clean. It was neat.
The water was warm. There was plenty to eat.
They had everything tree frogs might need.
And they were all happy. Quite happy indeed.

  29. miu says:

  35. StormCat says:

I adore Tree Frogs!!! What makes these even cuter is when you think about the size of them!!! The one on the bottom is small enough, that can you just imagine how teeny the one on top is??? I love their little toses!!!!!

  36. Megan says:

Aw, darn, someone beat me to the Yurtle the Turtle comment… :)

    Five green and speckled frogs
    Sat on a speckled log
    Eating the most delicious bugs
    (Yum Yum)
    One jumped into the pool
Where it was nice and cool
Now there are four green speckled frogs

    Four green and speckled frogs…

(This song kicks 100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall’s ‘tocks.)

  40. Shannon Johnson says:

That is so funny. I never seen anything like that before.

  41. Chels says:

These are Red-Eyed Tree Frogs and no, they are not at all poisonous or even toxic. They’re cuties!

  42. heidilynn says:

OK, someone already made the Yurtle the Turtle comment…but what these guys really reminded me of was “Little Cat’s A, B and C” and so on from The Cat in the Hat Comes Back. But no hat.

  43. garfield says:

That might not be shopped… there’s more today: http://www.spiegel.de/fotostrecke/0,5538,PB64-SUQ9MjExNzgmbnI9NQ_3_3,00.html

They seem to enjoy mating-season :D

  44. Hazel says:

That is not Shopped… I repeat… NOT Shopped!

Middle frog is entirely different to top frog… top frog is holding its posh pinky out… middle frog is gripping tight with all digits!

But frogs are most adorable, whether shopped or not…

  45. Calicogypsy says:

Red Eyed tree frogs aren’t toxic. You’re thinking of posion dart frogs, and that’s only if they come from the wild. Captive bred dart frogs aren’t posionus either. It’s a certain bug they eat in the wild that make them posionus.

  46. A thinker says:

    Won-der-ful.

  47. equus says:

Um, can we talk about rule #12 please?
    Yeah frogs!

  48. my cat is a sphere says:

    I lurf them.
    Lurf lurf lurf them.
I used to find miniature toads in the yard when I was little, they were like toads that belonged in a doll house, tiny tiny perfect miniatures of large toads.
    Sigh. Lurf them all!

  49. Tor says:

garfield–5′s company, but 60 quillion is a little bit creeping me out!

  50. Positive Jube says:

    Big froggie totally smilin’!

  51. equus says:

Erhem *cough* rule # 7. And rule #9. conspicuous LACK of fluff and floppy limbs.

  52. Golden says:

Okay.. there’s a tv commercial out there .. where one frog crawls up on the other one, making the bottom one fall backwards while holding onto a branch.. It’s hilarious!! I wish I remembered what the commercial was for now!

  53. Caitlin says:

    RULE NUMBER SEVENNNNNNN

  54. Nyx M. says:

‘shopped or not, just like you, I thought it was way too cute to pass up! Thanks for posting it.

  55. Neige says:

I do not think it’s photoshopped, but either way, I love it! Each frogs has a different expression :D Awesome.

  56. Sunflower says:

<3! I love frogs, and these are so tiny! My brain can't handle the cuteness!

  57. Hannah says:

These are red-eyed tree frogs. Native to Belize. Not poisonous, but oh so cute. their undersides are really perdy!

  58. Sydney says:

    Wow what a weird site.

  59. Fitz says:

Biologist friends of mine are extremely skeptical of the verisimilitude of this picture. They reasoned that a clutch (frog litter) would be of more similar sizes and that “growed up” frogs don’t stick around long enough for the next clutch. Frogs ain’t into family. If anyone can counter this argument I’d be glad to hear it since I got flack for showing it to them.

  60. GW2 says:

Um, Hi. This is a photoshop.

  61. Theo says:

Um, OK. Since you say so.
