P.S. On our second date ever, my husband took me to the San Diego Zoo and he bought me a cute polar bear stuffy.
I loooooff polar bears. And my husband.
From the appetizears to the antipastoes, it’s a banqute for the peeps.
I note that this is a rare polar bear/haggis cross. The zoo will have to set up a suitable hill-like environment for its asymmetric leg length.

I want to hold him like a beebee in my arms and rock him until he waps me softly on my cheek because he wants to be put down and then he will try to run around the room but he is so wobbly that he will to a tumbly somersault and thud softly into the wall. upside down. And then I would die of happiness.

This is a polar bear from a German zoo. The Animal rights people over there are saying that this cute bear should have been put down, because his mother rejacted him. Now he’s being raised by a human instead of his mother…

Krys — I think this may be CNN doing a bit of pandering, by making this “news” (in my decidedly un-humble opinion). At this point, with all the publicity he’s received, there would be a GLOBAL outcry if Knut got put down. Even the “animal rights people” know it (and the zoo absolutely does). I wouldn’t worry too overly much.
