Water, water every where

Can you imagine sleeping under a HUUUGE water bottle, and while you’re napping, an ENORMOUS drop comes out and lands on your head? McBummer.

  1. Whoooaaa… bleane?

    cute fuzz pile o’ hamsters!!

  2. AuntieMame says:

How’d this one sneak in under Mr. Squirelly Jones?

This reminds me of the Peanuts commercial where Snoopy can’t get out of his doghouse because an icicle is threatening to fall onto his head.

  3. Martha in Washington says:

Uhm, Chinese Water Torture? But who’d want to torture these tiny cuties? What possible information could they know? The whereabouts of WMR’s–Weapons of Mass Redonkulousness?

  4. darkshines says:

    Oh. My. GAWD. *Janice style*

I can’t tell if thy are baby ham-ham’s, or gerbils! When my gerbil had babies, I loved picking the pile of sleepng babies up, 7 in one fist! A fist full of gerbil kittens! The sorta wiggle around confused, then realised they are in a warm hand and go back to sleep… ^_^

  5. useta hada kitteh says:

    Where’d these guys come from?

Sleeping under your water bottle is actually the ultimate in convenience. When you wake up thirsty, you don’t have to stagger all over your cage with your eyes half shut, searching for the water bottle, it’s right there! You can have a little drink of water, and get right back to the important business of sleeping. Poifect!

  6. A big pile of hammies?
I wish I was small enough to jump right in there! They look so warm and snorgly!

  7. My hamsters always liked to do that (sleep under the water bottle, I mean.) I have no idea why–I guess it has something to do with convenience.

  8. Snorgly! I like it, layla!

  9. 😛 like i mentioned on this photo’s flickr page at http://www.flickr.com/photos/jade/148604443/in/set-72057594075161501/ the bottle doesn’t leak. i like this bottle so much, i’ve got two for my hamsters, and another identical branded one for my bun.

they were not exactly baby ham hams already, by the time this photo was taken (in may 2006). the boys were three months old, and girls a month old. full sized already. heh. they’re all roborovski dwarf hamsters.

where did they come from? 😛 they are the same hamsters at http://mfrost.typepad.com/cute_overload/2006/04/sand_trap.html and http://mfrost.typepad.com/cute_overload/2006/08/das_hammen.html just all grown up now. just that i never got proper credit…

haha but whatever, they have 600+ photos on their flickr set here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jade/sets/72057594075161501/
