Totally faked, I’m afraid. Follow at the line of the edge of the table, between the front kitties paws — it’s like they didn’t even try to match it.
like it’s already been said, this pic may be shopped but it’s not so uncommon in our house for our labradoodle to gnaw on our ever tolerant ginger cat. it started from being a puppy and the cat just put up with it. now our dog is way bigger but it’s only a gronsch not a crunch…so they can do it again another time…
It’s photoshopped. It started with the picture of the guy and the kitten–the kitten’s popping up to try and steal his food, I think, though the kitten may have been photoshopped in to a picture of just the guy and bowl. But the one I’ve seen before was guy and kitten.
The rest has been added in, although it looks like the dog and cat could be from one picture. I don’t know what else would have made the cat’s ear take on that shape. I have no idea why someone felt the need to cut them out of their original setting and put them in this one, though.

Um, just in regards to the table being irrefutable proof of photoshopping – methinks that’s some flawed logic. If you look at the table level on the far right, and then on the far left (past kitty’s outstretched paw), they are the same. The bit in the middle (between kitty’s paws) is distorted because some of its chest/tummy fluff is plopped over (because of the reaching action), and is resting on the table.
It still may be ‘shopped, but don’t look to that for the proof… Personally, I couldn’t care less – it’s totally prosh.

Theo, if you are going to be a mod, maybe you need to remember to huff a kitten before harshing the Nuffs. They bring ad dollars in too. If EVERYONE found EVERY PICTURE cute, then we wouldn’t need cuteologists.
I like the original kitty with shocked expression best. I think the ‘shopped version does kind of blatantly cry out for Nuff-type responses.
As a (hopeful) writer of fiction, which is sort of Photoshopped reality, it doesn’t bother me in the least that this is or isn’t photochopped. What bothers me is that from the look on that kitten’s face, I think it probably was scarred for life! People *are* posting whatever they want. That includes me and others criticizing them for it.
And repetitive posts take up bandwidth that somebody has to pay for, so saying that they are harmless is not the truth.
Just sayin’, we were not unaware that it was photoshopped. We were simply not commenting about it, since the photo’s provenance is completely irrelevant. It wasn’t until the newbies started harping on it that it became an issue.
That’s the way the Internet works. You show up on someone else’s forum and start throwing a tantrum like a 2-year-old, the regulars are going to tell you to grow up.
You can deal with it and change your ways, or you can get your feelings hurt. Your choice.

I think – more than anything else, people say they come to this site to get a break from their work day, to make them smile, and to get a laugh -or an ‘AWWW….’,or an ‘EEEEKK!’. I would say that is the ONLY criteria for ANY pic on here. Get a life, people. This pic has all those bases covered. The pic I laughed the most over -more than any other one I ever saw on here – was ‘Who brought the cat’? (innertube) Absolutely hilarious – lol w/out warning. But—that shouldn’t be allowed? (or, it ahould come w/ a disclaimer???)- Give me a break. (OY).
Ok, so this has nothing to do with the current “All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth” convo–BUT I’m dutifully working on one of my books (work projects), quivering in anticipation of our Christmas party at the boss’s house tonight, and what do I see but an author whose last name is “Mirkin.” Of course, my brain sees this is “merkin,” and I immediately burst out laughing–and then can’t explain to my coworkers what’s so funny.
