OMgawd. It’s just so cute. I… squee!!… *splode*

2 ShelleyTambo 11.03.06 at 6:49 pm

I realize it’s probably a baby bunny, but that piggie still seems mammoth. Bionic timothy hay?

3 NebraskaErin 11.03.06 at 6:49 pm

Cute bun. Ee-vil piggie.

4 Theo 11.03.06 at 6:50 pm

Waitaminnit! Where’s the CAT??

5 ShelleyTambo 11.03.06 at 6:51 pm

Hey, what happened to the hypnotizing red eye pic of these two? It was there and now it’s gone! Or am I just hypnotized into not seeing it?

6 ShelleyTambo 11.03.06 at 6:56 pm

Zero is the Piggy, and (awwwww) Portia the bunny is only 15 days old (according to Bivoir’s Flickr site, which does have the hypnotizing eye pic).

7 Lizzy 11.03.06 at 6:57 pm

OMG! Bunny tinier than a piggle! *dies*

8 zelda 11.03.06 at 6:58 pm

Ooooh. They both look so cuzzy and soft. Me wants to snorgle.

It is just adorable…one question…I don’t get the
Heylerhe?
What is that word referring to? I am usually good at deciphering things! :)

11 Arvay 11.03.06 at 7:08 pm

Whoa.

That is cute. Ridiculously cute. Size reversal!

12 SandyCat 11.03.06 at 7:10 pm

heylerhe = hello… kind of a nerdy-sounding hello.

13 blueberries4me 11.03.06 at 7:10 pm

Round piggie bums. LOVE IT!

14 Arvay 11.03.06 at 7:10 pm

“Portia whispers in Zero’s ear… “I’m not a piggy!” “

Evidently, Portia is the bunny, Zero is the piggy.

And this photo is so sweet it gives me cavyties.

And, NebraskaErin, it’s the other way around, isn’t it? Are piggies iwittable as well?

15 Arvay 11.03.06 at 7:12 pm
16 pyrit 11.03.06 at 7:14 pm

How sweet! Two powdered, jelly filled doughnuts! Why thank – you! Looks like raspberry jelly.

17 A thinker 11.03.06 at 7:15 pm

It’s a puggy and a binny!

Or is it a binny and a puggy…

Oh nevermind. Whatever it is, veddy cute. It comes close to the CO Perfect Post, and also fits into the Interspecies Snorgling category (Meg? You are gonna make that, right?)

18 mariser 11.03.06 at 7:18 pm

whichever one is the tinie one, I loves it. fabulous picture.

19 Ivonne 11.03.06 at 7:29 pm

21 Fish Eye no Miko 11.03.06 at 7:46 pm

OH MY GOD! It’s a giant guinea pig! Run for your lives!!
[why am I reminded of _Invader Zim_?]

22 jenn 11.03.06 at 8:14 pm

I love that one of them is named Portia. Sort of like the boxer named Marcy. Sigh…is it five so I can go cuddle with my fuzzy baby yet?

23 michellemybelle 11.03.06 at 8:22 pm

The flickr stream is deady cute.

Angel wings. Wide Load signs. Clown hats.

24 NebraskaErin 11.03.06 at 8:25 pm

Arvay – that post was made with the first posted-pic in mind, where there was a great, glowing red eye staring right atcha.

The wee bun seems to accept the piggy, evilness and all. Awww!

25 Arvay 11.03.06 at 8:47 pm

Oh. I had thought you had an ebil piggie, and thought that bunnies were sweet. I was ‘agonna straighten you out! :)

26 NebraskaErin 11.03.06 at 8:51 pm

Nope. Piggies are cute as a general rule, although nothing can outcute a wee baby bun! NOTHING!

27 lauowolf 11.03.06 at 8:59 pm

Invader Zim?
That was a hamster.
(If only he’d used the guinea pig!)

28 Arvay 11.03.06 at 9:00 pm

Cute, certainly! Sweet, I’ll fight you on!

29 stefany 11.03.06 at 9:01 pm

Zero! I GET it!!!
The little bunny DOES look like Zero from the Nightmare Before Christmas! I feel faint from the overall cuteness!

30 pyrit 11.03.06 at 9:06 pm

Stefany – You must be right. Here’s a rib for you! Arf! Arf! Now fly along.

36 michellemybelle 11.03.06 at 9:44 pm

mariser – is there room in your ziploc for one more? I couldn’t even include that one in my list of things as words failed me.

37 Arvay 11.03.06 at 9:58 pm

I’ve never had a piggie nor had any friends with one, but I’ve encountered them off and on through rabbit rescue (which tends to pick up piggies from the same rescue situations). Every time I hold one, I think, “Whoa! There is a *lot* of piggie here!” Piggies are so chubbalicious! And then my next thought is that I want to nawmsch on those little ears! Hee! It is unfortunate for some animals to be cute in my presence! Poor things!

38 Lauri 11.03.06 at 10:27 pm

I has some pretty fat piggies meownself, but not a beautiful redyeemer like Zero! :)

And such a sweet baby bun, Portia.

I am definitely pro-Portia.

Bleeh. Not Yeeven funny.

39 Rachel 11.03.06 at 10:30 pm

Rachel that is TOO cute! I want one of those letter openers!
Even if it comes with raisins!

42 Jessica 11.03.06 at 11:06 pm

Arvay, *I* got your “cavyties” joke!!!

43 Arvay 11.03.06 at 11:12 pm

Why, thank yew, Jessica! I’m sure the piggie herself would like to make some colorful jokes, but it might be difficult to know what the pigment.

44 sandy p. 11.03.06 at 11:18 pm

So good to have piggie-pies and bunnettes……good to see them after just getting my flu shot.

45 designerwhite 11.03.06 at 11:56 pm

woah, that bun bun is tiny! I bet the guinea pig would gobble him up if he smelled like carrots.

46 designerwhite 11.03.06 at 11:58 pm

Oh I just remembered – Bunicula! who drains the color from vegetables!! Which would make that a GUINICULA PIG. They probably both turn into bats and fly away near dawn.

47 Redzilla 11.04.06 at 12:33 am

EEE! letter-opening bun!

I only have a dish-breaking cat and a pantyhose snagging cat. They are less popular gadgets.

48 Arvay 11.04.06 at 12:45 am

My two buns are *very* talented at enforcing the Second Law of Thermodynamics.

49 misscrisp 11.04.06 at 1:40 am

Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind.
“Pooh!” he whispered.
“Yes, Piglet?’”
“Nothing,” said Piglet, taking Pooh’s paw. “I just wanted to be sure of you.”

Holy God is that the piggie?? cause if it is that is one GINORMOUS Bunny!

51 A thinker 11.04.06 at 1:50 am

I just wanted to share my non-thread-related Qte Moment (TM), folks. On my way here tonight I saw a small, cute baby thing toddling along a wall, in the dark, under a street light. At first I thought it was a tiny lost puppy or kitten. But as it got closer I saw it was a BABY OPOSSUM (very small, but big enough to be away from Mum). Its little tail was sticking out stiffly behind it and it looked at me as I spoke to it, before scurrying behind a bush.

Now, I know some of you would dispute that Opossums could be cute, but I’m tellin’ you, that one was. Nearly died.

52 Toni 11.04.06 at 2:11 am

Zero the piggy and Portia the baby bunny…

babbeh possum must have heard that there have been plenty of good possum treats over at lurkertype’s house lately, and he/she was headed over THERE to get some…&;o)

54 Eve Forward 11.04.06 at 2:32 am

Clearly the smaller animal is a young specimen of Ursula Vernon’s “Little Creature”

that is so ugly thAT I WILL BURN MY SELF TO DEAF.

56 Adalia 11.04.06 at 3:24 am

Awww… When I first saw this picture I couldn’t figure out if that was a baby bunny, or a chinchilla…

Even now, I’m still in doubt…

57 lauowolf 11.04.06 at 3:37 am

A Thinker-
Somehow I have ended up with a pair of semi-resident, non-pet (If I don’t name them, they aren’t pets) young possums.
I can’t use the fancy catdoor because the Idiot Kitten needs it actually open at all times.
So the possums get their own left-over cat food outside, in a mostly vain attempt to keep them out of the house.
But.
I’m sort-of getting to like them.
If you think Piggie Bank really, really hard, and don’t think Rat Tail at all, it helps.

58 Nicole 11.04.06 at 4:36 am

Hi all! This is Portia and Zero’s mother here! Portia the baby Bunny was only 15 days old in this pic and Zero the Piggy was about 12 months old. It was amazing to watch Portia jump around playing with Zero (who wasn’t sure what the fluffy little thing was, but cuddled her anyway!).

Zero is a retired show piggy, her full name is Double Champion Joey’s Zero Degree’s, or Zero or Zirry for short. She is an absolute sweetheart and will come running for a cuddle (once she wakes up from her naps) and loves all other creatures!

Portia has dug her way out of my yard and set up house at a neighbours house down the road. She still comes and visits for treats though!

Here’s Zero with her grandson: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bivoir/123087262/

Here’s Portia’s Dad: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bivoir/148652353/

And Zero’s old friend Soffy: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bivoir/154449174/in/set-72057594129986330/

Thank you for all your replies and visits to my Flickr site!

59 acelightning 11.04.06 at 10:17 am

NebraskaErin, I agree completely. There is nothing cuter than a tiny little baby bunnikin – except an equally tiny Itty Bitty Kitty. Actually, they’re tied for Cutest Thing In The Universe.

Make of it what you will, Theo, but Soffy is smilin’!

64 Lauri 11.04.06 at 2:13 pm

Eve Forward, the “Little Creature” IS one of the cute bebehs! :)

And, budak…that is a HOOT!
How funny. The bear killed chickens, chased sheep and SAT ON A GUINEA PIG.
I wonder which were the worst of it’s crimes?

65 Theo 11.04.06 at 2:18 pm

…doing any of these things in/near a human population, Lauri. Apparently.

66 you guys r silly 11.04.06 at 3:01 pm

Nicole :
Your critters are absolutely *beautiful*! I have to check out the Flickr pics more later, but the Zero & grandson one is ADORABLE! Thanks for sharing the *cuteness* with the rest of us!

I never heard of showing pigs, but picture peeps!!! A room full of squeeing g-piggies, and the judges all, “Yes, this one has excellent form. Squee!”

69 Galina Pembroke 11.05.06 at 11:09 am

That is just too adorable for words!

70 curlygirl 11.06.06 at 2:22 pm

These two are really cute! Don’t mean to be a party pooper but I have to say I hope they’re not kept together. This little bunny will be very dangerous for the guinea when he gets bigger and starts kicking.Bunnies and guineas should NEVER be kept together.

71 Subhangi 11.07.06 at 3:34 am

Wow! Is that a tiny bun? Or a big piggy?
