  4. pendlerpiken says:

    ooo!
I love the teeny froggies! In spring and early summer, there are a lot of them in the woods around my mother’s home. They are so sweet and bouncy!

  5. Tilly says:

aw! He reminds me of the little froglettes we had in our back garden over the summer. They’ve all grown up now and hang out in the garage, killing spiders and generally just going about their important frog business.

  6. CB says:

Sure the frog is cute, but what’s up with the lovely, glowing, illuminous eraser? I’m mesmerized…

    can’t…
    look…
    away…

  7. Kate says:

YAY! I love the froggles… all sizes of froggles, frogging around.

*gazes into the teeny froglet’s beautiful bronze eyes*

  8. alivicwil says:

I want to hold him on my finger!

  9. piscespixie says:

    Toadally Tiny!

  10. Julia says:

    Wow, it’s luminous!

The reflected eraser looks like a marshmallow…. Mmmm.

  11. Theo says:

Definitely a pronounced Harry Potter vibe going on here. I mean, check OUT that wand.
    [singing]
    “Something wicked this way comes!”

  12. A thinker says:

Whoa. Man. That eraser could *seriously* snuff out that tiny frog. The pencil owner better be careful…

  13. Lauri says:

OOOOoooooooooo. It’s magic! I mean that “Life” itself is contained in that teenytiny morsel of cute froggleness.

*..if the log rolls over we all shall die…*

  14. NebraskaErin says:

I just looked over at a pencil at my desk.

    *POIT*

Someone get that froglet on a fingertip!

  15. Courtney says:

I love how even though he is super teeny tiny, he still looks very serious. :)

  16. Lauri says:

This frog has actually made me want to write a haiku about him.

I shall ponder this at work! Have a goob day y’all!

  17. you guys r silly says:

Sung to the tune of “A Froggie Went A-Courtin’”

Wee froggeh went erasin’, he did rub
    a-huh!
    a-huh!
Wee froggeh went erasin’, he did rub
With a luminous eraser to remove his flubb
    a-huh!
    a-huh!

  18. Laurie C says:

That is, like, a nuclear eraser. Hope the frog doesn’t get radiation poisoning from it.

  19. Diem says:

I think the little froggie looks kind of goldy sparkly and stuff.

And that bright white eraser, does look like a marshmallow or…

Carol-Anne, stay away from the light Carol-Anne!

  20. ka9q's wife says:

oh my how very very cute with his look of more serious than thou. He looks like a tiny little jewel. I would love to meet him in my garden someday.

  21. Subhangi says:

    EEEEEE!!!! Teeny tiny froglet!!!

    *kisses the little froggie*

  22. That little amphibian looks so tiny and shiny, you could put him in a ring setting! Like a little nugget of copper and gold!

The funny thing is, it seems like the smaller the frog, the louder the croak. Anyone else notice that? (Think coqui or spring peepers!)

    Mmmmmm…marshmallow eraaaassseeerrrrr…

  23. AmyH says:

Careful, Subhangi! With a frog that tiny, he could jump in your nose without warning. You’d hate to have to explain THAT to the good folks at Urgent Care.

I have no idea why that’s the first thing I thought of when I read your post.

BTW – I told Mom you and Two Sheds Jackson were living in the basement room. She said that’s perfectly fine and there’s a new batch of kitties out in the calf barn. Enjoy!

  24. Laurie C says:

AmyH, I read Subhangi’s post and thought the same thing: “Don’t inhale him by mistake!”

  25. ceebs says:

That is one blurpy little frog.

  26. Aubrey says:

“Bright Lights Little Froggie”, the latest from Jay Lily-Padinerney, published by the Hop-lin Mifflin Co.

  27. Marianne says:

OMG… It’s soooo TEENY! I love frogs. specially redonkulously teeny weeny ones.

  28. AuntieMame says:

Was this post here yesterday? I don’t remember seeing it.

It’s not really a tiny frog. It’s just a really huge pencil!

And check out the reflections in the table that go on forever and ever and ever and ever…

  29. Theo says:

AuntieM — yeah, the order’s wonky. I wonder if Meg had it ready before the pork-n-beans post, but didn’t click it “live” right away, for whatever reason.

  30. AuntieMame says:

Just so long as it’s not ME who’s losing her mind.

  31. Theo says:

I make no allegations, pro or con, on that matter.

  32. Kim H. says:

That froggy WOULD fit into a ear or nose nicely. Ewww… We had a pillbug in an ear yesterday, but this fellow is much cuter. Plus, he could hop out of your nose all on his own and make someone faint.

  33. kayte says:

With all the glitter and mirrors, it looks like Disco, Disco Frog! Ribbit, ribbit, ribbit, ribbit, stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive!

  34. A thinker says:

I *think* by mistakes and erasing Meg’s referring to the mistaken double ham ‘n’ rack posting. I believe she posted this one in its place, instead. Hence its position before teh piggy, where the second hamrack one was…

  35. Netherland Dwarf rabbit, owner!!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ says:

Where’d my comment about the cool purple pencil go?
Musta typed it under the wrong pic. Oh well…

  36. Netherland Dwarf rabbit, owner!!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ says:

Oh LOL! Mystery solved! Tis a double post!
    HAhahaha!
