That piece of broccoli is the same size as the rats head. It is a rat, isn’t it?

  2. thehawke says:

I never thought they could be so cute but it is something about the broccoli….

  3. juggle geese says:

In certain circles brokkoli is an acceptable substitue for flowers. It looks like it is presenting a bouquet.

I can’t stop looking at his wonderful ears.

Whoops, my DSL is a bit slow and I keep getting a certificate warning popup from this site, so wasn’t sure that went through the first time.

  21. Suzanne says:

We certain it’s not a mousie?

I gotta say, not sure I dislike BEF (whether “beedy eyes” or “broccoli eating”) as much as some appear to. Mean, come ONNN, look at alll the BEF pics on this site, including this one. Sooo cute, every last one of em.

    [looks at pic again, melts]

  22. Lil Liberal says:

Suzanne, mousies have entirely different face/ear/nose structures. Smaller ears, and more pointy/less prominent noses. It’s definitely a cute rat. :)

Huh. My ratties will not eat their o-so-good-for-them broccolies, or anything else that isn’t fatty or sweet. Sigh. (Thank goodness for baby carrots.) They definitely inherited *my* taste buds . . .. . .

  25. Stollie says:

Aaaaawww, he/she looks just like my rattie Garosh! They can make the most adorable faces! I just wanna eat this lil’ bugger along with the broccoli!
