I once rescued six of these fluffer nutters from the beach in Long Beach, CA, just after Easter. (Some nutball thought they could swim in salt water and ’set them free.) Trust me, they don’t purr — they stick their heads under your chin, and tap it with their little beaks, and make the most adorable little clicks!
Looks like a tyranosaurus rex from behind, except for the tail of course. =)

My son and I have a brilliant time photographing duck butts. I am sure it disturbs the zen-seeking Japanese Garden visitors when we squeal “DUCK BUTT!” with delight and begin snapping madly….

The thing I like best about duckbutt is how it seems to be a separate bit, perhaps a ball-in-socket sort of thing, which can be wiggled all around. Ever noticed that?
