Why do baby animals always look so windblown? Too friggin cute.
Denita — it’d have to be goggles, sadly… rabbits have that prey-animal eye configuration that maximizes peripheral vision, rather than precise binocular ranging.
This makes it difficult to fit. They need custom full-wrap-around style shades; otherwise they fall off. Goggle straps, on the other hand, can adjusted be much more easily.
Trust me on this.

However, I’m from/live in S. California. For anyone else living in the area, I feel obligated to let you know that the Ventura County Fair begins this weekend – and that on 8/6 there will be a ‘Rabbit and Poultry Costume Contest’. The boyfriend and I will absolutely be there.

That means I live in Ann Arbor, LOL.
Someone from Cali asked me where in Michigan I lived, and without thinking I pointed at my hand… Twice. “I was born here, and then we moved here.” Their jaws hit the floor. Then they asked me what the H*LL I was doing. I felt like a little kid who, when asked her age, holds up fingers and says “I am thewtee-tooo yeaws owd.”
They eventually “got it” and then proceeded to joke about how peeps from Florida do it (imagine “undoing pants-zipper motions”).
These bonny wee bunnies look like little Scots with the whiskery fluff on their muzzlepuffs!!

David R — That’s the place, all right. They’ve got their WWW/mail-order business which fits in well with the luxury-food-item import thing. That doesn’t get you the super-excellent fresh bread, though, or the ice cream (in an adjoining building/house) or, y’know, did I mention the sandwiches?
you people have short attention spans. We’re talking bunnies here! … I read somewhere that rabbits are more closely related to deer (ungulates) than to rodents. This is the first photo I’ve seen showing bunnies with their necks stretched up. The deer relationship seems more possible now!
