These little Dudes are LATE for their luncheon in the grass. Hurry, little dudes! Hurry!
E to the C—awesome. Thanks, CatWalk Rabbitry 🙂
“Ahoy, I say! Danger spotted at 3:00!”
E.C. must be the most-published submitter on CO. You can’t lose with cute bunny pics 😉
Someone surrendered four lionheads to my shelter a week ago. Cute when they’re little, gorgeous when they’re grown!
omigosh! They are the CUTEST lil buns. Too bad wife said I could have a kitteh OR…
I have always loved rabbits. This is way too anerable. And now I love them even more! GO GO rabbirts! (xd)
I’m late, I’m late
For a vey important date.
No time to say hello, goodbye.
I’m late, I’m late…
*twitch* squeeeee!! i want a snowballs maybe i can convice my roomies to let me have one.
now in their new warren, hazel and fiver’s children frolic in the summer sun.
Holy squeeing scurry-trons, BatMeg… talk about your floofy jowls!
They look so serious! Give ’em dark shades and put ’em in black business suits and you’d have Agents Fluff and Bun. Run, Neo, Run!
Why do baby animals always look so windblown? Too friggin cute.
Denita — it’d have to be goggles, sadly… rabbits have that prey-animal eye configuration that maximizes peripheral vision, rather than precise binocular ranging.
This makes it difficult to fit. They need custom full-wrap-around style shades; otherwise they fall off. Goggle straps, on the other hand, can adjusted be much more easily.
Trust me on this.
“Grazing in the grass is a gas
Bunnies – can you dig ’em?”
And Manet wasn’t my first Impression-ist, but now that Meg mentions him…
Hee hee… heads bigger than bodies. SOOOO cute, it’s mind boggling.
Theo, what have you been doing to the bunnehs?
And more importantly, do you have pictures?
Kim — I don’t have any *authentic* photos…
Theo… how do you KNOW that? Your poor bunbuns… forced to dress up for all occasions.
BUNNY PERFECTION!!! *thump*
lol they are cute!!
What remarkable coloring! What kind of hippity-hops are these?
Theo, that’s worth the photoshop. 😉
Hey Sarcasta – I just read this from a few days back: “I’m near the fleshy part of the thumb, between the first knuckle and the wrist, you?” Your description just cracks me up! I’m in Lansing!
i just wanna kiss em and put that little pile of dead grass on hims head for a little hat
Opening this week, from Warren Brothers – the feel-good movie of the year, honoring the Buns of Summer:
“Fields of Greens”…’if you plant it, they will come…’
Aww. I can’t believe my bunnies got up here :). One is a Frosted pearl and the other is a blue white magpie. Thankyou for adding my pic to this adorable site.
CeeJoe and Sarcasta –
I’m in Grand Rapids!
Isn’t it funny to live in a state where you can use your 2 hands (can’t forget the UP) as a map?!
they just spotted a lawnmower!! run for your lives!!
Look at the height of the blades of grass, then at the bunnages – they are so tiny!

Hey Mariser, I’m a Leo too.
Ooooh, we need a picture of a baby lion!
There’s more cuteness where that came… I love baby bunnies and Lionhead babies are even cuter in my opinion…Well I think lops might come close, LOL
EEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIII! I just googled lionhead rabbits. Check out these pictures: http://lionheadrabbit.net/
Hello Michigan friends!
However, I’m from/live in S. California. For anyone else living in the area, I feel obligated to let you know that the Ventura County Fair begins this weekend – and that on 8/6 there will be a ‘Rabbit and Poultry Costume Contest’. The boyfriend and I will absolutely be there.
not sure I’ll make it through THIS one. Oh no.. here I go… another FINE mess C.O. has gotten me into! I’m a pile of goo. AGAIN, thanks to THIS absolute monSOON of cuteness.
(Say in small voice: thank you sir, may I have another?)
“J is for Joon, who defied the monsoon.”
(…after E. Gorey’s Gashlycrumb Tinies)
Please do check the pics on the Catwalk Rabbitry site – which is where these lil’ guys came from. Meg has the link underneath the pic, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to repost:
For those using Firefox and Opera, you can copy the URLs to each pic and paste them into a new tab or window – and get *ginormous* bunny pics!
Whoops – make that:
“I’m near the fleshy part of the thumb, between the first knuckle and the wrist, you?”
That means I live in Ann Arbor, LOL.
Someone from Cali asked me where in Michigan I lived, and without thinking I pointed at my hand… Twice. “I was born here, and then we moved here.” Their jaws hit the floor. Then they asked me what the H*LL I was doing. I felt like a little kid who, when asked her age, holds up fingers and says “I am thewtee-tooo yeaws owd.”
They eventually “got it” and then proceeded to joke about how peeps from Florida do it (imagine “undoing pants-zipper motions”).
These bonny wee bunnies look like little Scots with the whiskery fluff on their muzzlepuffs!!
ButTartans, anyone? (Buntans?)
OOPS, I meant “BunTartans.”
Och, wee bun bairns!
cool! there’s three of us Leos (at least). and yay for lions, babes or otherwise.
we need a lion picture fer shure.
So cute!!! They look like baby lionhead rabbits. Lovely in the grass!
How could you tell at that age without looking? Not even I would be able to tell I don’t think.
Those are the cutest bunnies ever!!!
Well [blushes], I knew they were lionheads without looking at the site. ‘Cause I think lionheads are The Tops.
@ Michelle: there are some mad rabbit peeps in these here parts… 😉
Have fun at the Fair Aubrey!
They’re the top –
Whenever I see ’em;
They’re the top –
I just love to squeeze ’em.
They’re the mile,
I’d walk to see ’em,
They’re the smile
Guaranteed from ’em
Don’t need to check, a sure bet
To be soft,
They’re Lionhead Bunnies and
They’re the top!
Thanks! The Fair is a vast Elysian Plain for bunny aficionados.
Yepper I go and head to the bunny barn and then the food ally!
My 2 fave reasons to go to the Fair.
everytime i see this title i think of splendor in the grass.
” Though nothing can bring back the hour,
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;”
And yeah it was also an awesome movie.
“They’re Lionhead Bunnies and
They’re the top!”
Nice to see another Cole Poter fan here, Aubrey… Wish I could join you guys for the fair.
awwwwie! they look soooo cuddly!
“and then proceeded to joke about how peeps from Florida do it” LOL…
I guess I’ve never done that with anyone except another Michigander, so *I* think it’s a perfecly normal thing to do. >^o.o^<
Too cute…too much cuteness…must go lie down somewhere…
Everyone born in Michigan has the innate knowledge of how to identify where you live by pointing at your hand. Immigrants to the fair state and those who have never lived here need to be schooled on it.
Let’s have a Michigan CO pre-union! (since we’ve never met, it can’t be a re-union.)
MI Peeps —
Someday in the not-too-distant future, Jaye & I will be coming out to Ann Arbor, to visit my sister, her hubbster, and their brand new firstborn (i.e. my neff-you). Not to mention Zingerman’s (ooohhhh such SANDWICHES!)
I’d *love* to arrange a Cute Overload / Slashdot meetup when that happens. No timeframe just yet, though.
Theo – sign me up! That sounds like a hoot and a half!! (Not familiar with Zingerman’s, but I’ll give it a try!)
You like ice cream? You like really fancy imported foodie items? You like the GOOD sandwiches?
GO. To Zingerman’s. Go NOW.
Also, go to the newly-opened La Shish.
This the place
David R — That’s the place, all right. They’ve got their WWW/mail-order business which fits in well with the luxury-food-item import thing. That doesn’t get you the super-excellent fresh bread, though, or the ice cream (in an adjoining building/house) or, y’know, did I mention the sandwiches?
you people have short attention spans. We’re talking bunnies here! … I read somewhere that rabbits are more closely related to deer (ungulates) than to rodents. This is the first photo I’ve seen showing bunnies with their necks stretched up. The deer relationship seems more possible now!
incidentally, Lion Heads? Abso-frickin-lutely hilarious.
I’m sure Zingermans has sandwiches that lionhead rabbits would enjoy too, Chacha.
Lionheads pose like that. It is part of the breed. Go to http://www.catwalkrabbitry.com to see the proper adult pose. It is supose to show their mane when their old. A show off pose, HEHE
