Constantly-moving bun noses. Why is that/ Must they always move their noses? Are they constantly taking in smells that require nose-ular movement? sniff sniff sniff—it’s a never-ending Sniff-a-thon. Oh, and please note: TINY TAIL ALERT!
Glorius manicure, Deidre C.!

Ndjawww.
That tail is so tiny, I almost coudln’t find it. Aww.
The caption confuses me – “glorious manicure”? Are the teeny tiny bunnehs now using their Tiny Tails ™ as nail buffers?
LOL TJ – the manicure in mention is referring to the hands of the bunny-holder.
Cutie is in the eye of the bunnyholder?
Baby buns
Baaaaaby buns
so darn cute my eyes just runs…
Baby Buns!
Are these really bunnies or are they picas? Remember the picas of a month ago…no time to find the link…

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAwwwwwwwe!
w00t!! Three tiny buns!
May I please point out the tiny white head spots. Oh, and just imagine little floofy white bunny tails bouncing around. I see floofitude hopping away across my yard all the time. *sigh*
Bunnies communicate through sniffing. That’s how they ‘talk’ to each other. They sniff out each other. Hence the constant (and cute) sniffing!
I wants them…
1 c. milk
1 egg yolk
1 tblspn. corn syrup
Mix, warm, feed them. Gotta get this recipe out! Saev teh bunnehs!
One time I held a bunny up to my ear so I could hear it sniffing. It was the tiniest little snuffles in the world…just sweet as apple pie.
ohhhhhhh… i want some babeh bunbuns… dang it, gotta start working on getting that animal sanctuary!!
bunny nose…. its like kryptonite for me…. my husband can actually emulate the movement with his nose and I squeal with glee like a little girl everytime he does. I luf da bun buns…

Yes, I’m beginning to think an impeccable manicure is one of the qualifications for being a wildlife rescuer. Zelda?
Those aren’t little white spots on their heads!
Those are little lights of happiness shining through their fuzziness!
those are lovely! =) I love baby bunnies.
bunny-fact: Did you know that the speed at which a bunny-nose twitches indicates how interested they are in what is around them? This baby-bun-snifface is the bunny equivalent of the puppy’s “what’sthatwhat’sthatwhat’sthat?” sniffage.
If you can twitch your nose, you can help calm down a frightened bunny by mirroring them and then slowing down your own twitchage speed. they will follow.
aw, bun snorgles. borgles? never mind.
Jaypo is this what you speak of???

We few, we happy few, we band of bunnies;
For he to-day that looks on us shall squee -
Look on me and my brothers;
You can’t help but smile,
Marvel on how gentle our condition;
And CO viewers out of bed
Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here,
And hold their own pets dear whiles any speaks of those
That ate with us upon Saint Carrot’s day.
Aubrey, that is frickin’ brilliant – buns and Bard!

when it comes to hands. the nails… the diamond….
I don’t tink dese are bunnies…I think they’re picas. baby bunnehs are here, note the pointed ears:

Picas? Bunnehs? Does it even matter?!
Yes, but this is clearly the “pica” the bunnies…
A thinker: I could sure go for a manicure! I can’t say my nails are imepeccable at this time (mainly thanks to digging around in the gardens)… but I guess the bunnehs don’t mind.
(bows deeply to Aubrey)
these li’l guys look sooooo soft. and they look like cottontails to me. the one thing I used to like about visiting my grandma in Arizona was visiting the golf course early in the morning … it would be covered with cottontails with the sun shining all rosy through their round little ears.
Eeep! Oh sooo cute! Little white blazes on the front two. I wanna kiss those spots! Little ears! Oh i’m dying.
::slump::
Dangit, Aubrey, you dunnit agin. Good job!
We call our beagle Betty our “baby bunny” because her wee black nose is constantly on the sniff.

Handful of multiple bunnage!
I’ve always thought the nose muscles must be the strongest ones on bunnies. They get such a workout.
Aubrey, you are truely gifted!
Theo, did you actually go back thru pics looking for nails?
The devotion around here is truly remarkable!
And a big yay to the buns, too! Remarkable buns around here, always!
Ah hahahahaha…..great pic of Betty, Skwerly!
I vote babeh bunneh on this one, as opposed to babeh pika.
They’re adorable though, I love the one that looks like it’s going to fall off the hands, twitching his little nose all the way down <3
jaypo, I’m sure these are baby cottontails. Their ears look odd when they’re on the teeny side, like these…

Lauri — yes, but don’t forget I’ve got Google in my corner. The upper-right-hand corner, to be exact.
…and I was looking for those “Eyebleed Fuschia” nails.
…clearly, E.Collison has the whole Google thing down pat, too.
Aww, so cute! I love how tiny they are…comparing them to the hand just brings it home.
lilie, I was about to say the same thing. The ring, the rabbit, the nails… That woman had a fan club dying to be her
When bunnies sniff, often they are opening and closing their nostrils. Humans, with their giant always open nostrils, get used to smells and stop smelling them. Animals like bunnies, who can close their nostrils, can temporarily block out smells, then smell freshly, making sure they don’t lose track of what’s going on around them.
If those were my hands holding those wee little bunbuns, I’d stick my face in them and SNORGLE like my life depended on it!
Now introducing: Bunny Snacks! For those who lack midday cuteness, grab a handful of Bunny Snacks and squee with delight!
did you know that bunny-nose muscles are so strong, that if you hold onto their nose, the rest of the bunny wiggles? (yes, I’ve tried this)
Tricia – that conjures up some deeply wierd mental pictures for me.
well, yes, it’s supposed to.
Bunny v. Pika — they’re teeny tiny little bunbuns, for sure. The ear points are just hard to see. The heads are not round enough to be pika heads, I don’t think, but more important is the fact that pikas don’t have tails. See here : http://www.pikaworks.com/pikas/photos/farltail.jpg
for an amusing shot of a Pika hinder. Pikaworks.com also features links to a bunch of other useful Pika sites, like “A Little Pika of Hokkaido.” Of course.
“Three little buns in hand are we,
Sniffing away with bunny glee,
Looking for treats impatiently,
Three little buns in hand!”
hrhs – ah, Bun Mikado!
In my opinion, G&S would be mightily improved by adding fuzzbutts. (And I do like G&S) But then, I think *everything* would be improved by adding fuzzbutts -
“Hopping hither, hopping thither,
We will make you squee and quiver . . .”
“As someday it may happen that some pictures must be found,
I’ve got a little list, I’ve got a little list;
Of fuzzy faces funny, tall and skinny, short and round
I’ve got a little list, I’ve got a little list;
There’s that lovely hamster, Lucy, with a smile upon her face
There’s a rattie who has gotten in a most peculiar place
And bunny butts, and laughing dogs, and kittycats to boot,
They’ll all of them be Cute,
They’ll all of them be Cute!
Sorry, G&S is contagious.
