omg this reminds me of Cookie Monster. (i see it a lot because I have 2 toddler siblings) Cookie Monster always brings the letter of the day printed on a cookie. And he always says “today, not going to eat letter of day. Today am going to have willpower! Me no eat cookie with letter of the day!” and he keeps eyeballing it and then goes nuts and eats it. I think right after this photo was snapped, Bianca went on a Cheerio eating rampage

And here, I have trouble teaching my pair of lovable idiot rats not to eat plastic and that jumping off of shoulders when someone is standing will cause them to discover that Mr. Gravity is NOT their friend. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Fred & George, but as far as ratty girls go, they’re just not that bright. I swear, they could get lost in a maze with no turns.

I looked after a rat for a friend once – Stella the rat. My cat, Alaidh, refused to go in the room where Stella stayed. I couldn’t keep my other cat Sammie out.
Not to worry, Stella survived intact and quite happy after her holiday.
I like rats, but I can’t get past that tail…especially when it wraps around your wrist…
Cute rat… looks kinda like mine, except with more brown down her back. She’s never tried Cheerios, though… I bet she’d love ‘em.
Speaking of food for rats… as I type this, she’s just finished flipping her food dish over again, dumping food all over her cage… I need to get a heavier one, or bolt this one down or something.

Awwwww, I’m so glad to see a rat on CO! My mom and I both keep rats, they’re such wonderful pets. If people could just get past the tails, they would see how wonderful, smart, and snuggly rats are. My Chandler is a Dumbo-eared Rex-coated fancy rat – not one bit scared of my two cats. (he’s so big, I think the cats think he’s a small cat!)
Such a smart little rat. Some of mine are that smart, I have one named Freddy that rides the subway with me to the petstore each month.
yes, I get that most think bunnies and kitties are cuter. Just putting in my vote. I have a bunny too. And two cute lambiekins. I love rat tails. They can wag them you know, although it looks more like a snake with its head cut off squirming uncontrollably.
