Cute Overload :D
Her name was Chi-chi, she was chee-wah-wah,She had little pointed ears,Four blond paws and a blond rear
She would meringue, and do the cha-cha(Right, Martin S.?)Right,
oh so cute
oh oh oh first post ever yea!!!!!
She looks so coy… bless her heart!
No photos, please!
Either that or, “hey, big boy, why don’t you come up and see me sometime?”
What a little poser.
She probably knows that when she covers her nose, her big, beautiful eyes are perfectly framed.
She would meringue? Would she also would she also ice and whip?
Yeah, it’s intentional. Chi’s know when they’re being cute. I’m convinced of it.
… she’s sweet and so refined
her cuteness blows your mind!
Gah! Too cute. Love those ears!
“Oh stop, you’re making me blush!”
Heh, what a little doll!
Is it possible she has bad breath? She looks like she’s embarrased about it.
Ok, sorry to nitpick… It’s ‘merengue’. ‘Meringue’ is a sweet made of egg whites and sugar. ‘Merengue’ is a type of dance. That is all. Again, sorry to be a nitpicker.
“Oh dahling, not ANOTHER photo, no, no… oh alright fine, one last one.”
So coy! She’s adorable.
love her chubby belly and her big ears too ^_^
Call me crazy…
but is that not the sweetest Chi evah?!
Was?, so is she no longer with you?
Coy coquette wahwah. Too sweet!
Crossed paws! Paw pads! Big booful eyes! Belly Belly Belly!!
I’m sure the dog is fine, hdofu. That’s just the song lyrics.
Gah. ::nibbles paw pads::
“Tell me more about my eyes”…(*blink*blink*…)
Now I’m tempted to do a Glossary entry explaining the interchangeability of “merengue” and “meringue” in the context of Cute Overload.
Awww so prosh – and she should merengue with a meringue.
Ehh, I dunno, I’m not liking wah wah’s too much right now. Last night I was walking home from work, just minding my own business, I walked past a parked car with 3 of the little beasts in it…they immediately launched themselves at the window, barking hysterically and scaring the *&%## out of me. Meh.
NO interchangeability of music/dance genre with icing, thanks all the same. I’ll get you if you do that, fffeeeo.
Sort of like an episode of Keeping Up Appearances, huh, Dustbunny? Did you fall into the hedge like Hyacinth Bucket always does?
Sorry, AM, didn’t you mean “Bouquet”?!
This way beats the article on the person hit with a dead chihuahua.
Guy over there: I heard about that last night!!! How horrible!!! I hope they NEVER give her another dog!!!
Meg: LOVED the lyrics!!! You are the greatest when it comes to finding these pics and coming up with headings!!! THANK YOU!
I dunno. My sympathies are with the dog owner and not the breeder. (I don’t think highly of puppy mills…)
Auntie: I agree, I’m not crazy about the breeders either, however even a dead puppy doesn’t deserve to be treated like that… BUT maybe it was just a fit of grief and not anger?
Haha, she’s doing the Italian f**k off gesture! XD
Auntie: Sadly, I’ve never watched Keeping Up Appearances. However, Hyacinth Bucket sounds like a great drag name : )
Ok – whilst I have no idea what happened with the dead puppy I always think dog and cat farms/ mills deserve a few horny mongrel dogs and moggy toms let in the back door. That would stuff up their pedigrees somewhat and probably result in some super cute hybrids. Wah-wahs scare me – toooo titchy and yappy!
Our Chi, Olivia, thinks this one’s a cutie petutie! Simply adorable!
Dustbunny, Hyacinth B. has pretensions to aristocratic culture even though she’s straight middle class Brit. Her last name is “Bucket” but she insists on pronouncing it a la francais–so it sounds like “bouquet.” She’s very funny and quite annoying!
what’s this dead puppy story?
Here’s a link to the dead wah wah story:
I admit, I laughed when I read it. Then I forwarded it to everybody I know.
Yes, I know I”m going to hell for it.
all the chihuahua photos have that same paws-over-face action going on. I propose an official change of their names to “shy-wah-wahs”. All in favor raise their hands and indicate by saying “aye!”
so when are you going to make an official barry manilow category? i spot a trend…
“Dude, do NOT blame that one on me. Phew! Disgusting humans.”
Look at her eyes–she’s smiling behind those paws! What a flirt!
Villeline — almost… her left paw would have to be *in* the crook of her right elbow for that. This wah-wah’s flirty, not dirty.
Chi-chi looks to be saying something my son would say when he was little, “NO LOOK ME!” She is adorable! Love that puppy..xoxoxo
“Meh…no pictures…I just woke up…”
She looks soo cute! Like she’s embarassed or guilty or something. Such a sweetie.
Dustbunny – I love puppies and all but I’m going to hell, too…
The “would” is in reference to the song lyrics…Copacabana by Barry Manilow:
Her name is Lola
She was a show girl
With yellow feathers in her hair
And her dress cut down to there
She would merenge
And do the cha cha
And while she tried to be a star
Tony always tended bar
It seems that Barry Manilow is a common theme here on C.O.!
“Don’t look at me, I’m too beautiful!”
Theo: Oh, but this is the *beginning* of the gesture *before* the left lower arm is properly lifted. Look at her eyes, too, she’s been taught that look from a native. Take it from me – I live in Italy.
“It seems that Barry Manilow is a common theme here on C.O.!”
as it should be. how many other top-ten songs were written about a dog (Mandy)?
Looks like she’s afraid of a vampire! ^^
“She would merenge…”
Not to be pedantic or anything [::rolls eyes at self::], but it’s “merengUE,” unless you’re in Haiti, where it actually is spelled “merIngue,” as in Lemon Meringue Pie.
Get out, paparazzi, get out!!
I have some puppy pics here, if its ok to share:
Unless you’re a Star Trek fan, in which case it would be ‘Ferengi’.
Dustbunny, Alice… I’m going to hell too. It is soooooo wonderfully basil fawlty/the parrot sketch from monty python.
However i’m going to hell anyway. Chi-wah-wahs are HORRIBLE and make my skin crawl. SORRY people… (i love almost everything else cute but not toy dogs. [shudders in melodramatic fashion]. I’d rather snorgle a hedgie without goggles.
what’s with the spelling police on this post? sheesh!
Preserving the English language…
Unless you’re a Star Trek fan, in which case it would be ‘Ferengi’.”
Well, sort of – “ferengi” actually means “foreigner” in a bunch of languages. (Arabic and Hindi, for 2.)
So make of that what you will, Queen of Puns!
my dogs name is chichi too nd its a chihwahwa
OMG, THATS SOOOO CUTE HOW YOU PUT IT TO THAT SONG… I DIDNT GET IT UNTIL AFTER, AND I HAD TO READ IT OVER ABOUT A MILLION TIMES… LOVE IT!!!
