We’ve all been there…

…You mean, had a boarded up fireplace?

No—I mean, we’ve all been kids at one point, and been on the living room carpet face to face with our family pet in a serious case of brinksmanship. Who’s gonna budge first?

Well, my cat pounced on me. What about you, Emily A.?

…it looks like the dog’s way too passed out to do anything about that kid except feebly try to lick it (note tongue hanging out of mouth)

  2. Theo says:

    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz[SNORK]zzzzzz…

  3. LOVE IT!!

Reminds me of the times I used to lay down in front of the kitty and spread Cheerios on the ground as a shared meal together…

Heh, what a work of art! That carpet looks incredibly clean. I remember being eye to eye with the family dog. Such a soothing, almost religious experience, really. Knowing our place in the universe together. And lounging around on the floor.

    Telepathic snorgling!

  6. llism says:

Such bad parents! They let their child in the general vicinity of the dog? Although it’s sleeping, it could jump up any moment and rip her face off! Then it will suffocate her! Then it will pee on the carpeting, devour the camera person, evolve opposable thumbs, run for office, get elected president, and DROP THE BOMB ON ALL OF US! Run!! Run for your lives!!!!!

    :-)

  7. Theo says:

I, for one, welcome our new snorglepooch overlords.

  8. AuntieMame says:

  18. Mary says:

eekkk! So cute. It reminds me of my 1st dog. I used to curl up with him and lay on his tummy and sleep. So sweet!

  19. Trish says:

    Is that tongue-age or jowl-age? Inner-jowlage, methinks.

  20. arwo says:

I am thinking that it is not so much a dog *tongue* as it is a charmingly pink, flabby, inside-of-lip region. My dog also has no muscle control of his lips, and I often admire the droopy-lip phenomenon when he lies on his side.

  21. arwo says:

    i.e. I agree with Trish

  22. crap says:
