Cute Overload :D
…Especially if they’re clean….
Steve H. sent in Mika and and Charlie…
(not really a necessary comment — but I was first!)
Awwwwwwwwwww… cute little pawsies!!!
I bet those are the sweetest smelling feetsies in the world! Definitely worth snorgling!
Ah, bliss – this is *finally* an official rule!
SNORG SNORGLE PROSH KITZ!!!11!!!!111!!one!!!111!!1!!!11!!!1!!eleven!
This makes me want to curl up in a pile with those I love. Why don’t people sleep like this?
I’ll have to come clean: my initial exclamation upon seeing cute kits isn’t “aw”. It’s: “FACE!!!FACE!!!BOO BOO KITTY!!!”
They don’t ssem to mind. People within hearing distance are quite another matter…
That last comment was…
stupid. (MY comment)
It’s VERY very VERY cute. I lurve it.
I want to tickle that paw but it might wake them up…. Oh, what the heck! *tickle!* :o) (feels better now)
whata cute snufflism.they look so comfy.
Snuggly-buggly furry little kitties with soft pink toesies! Toesies *must* be touched, yes they must!
Damn! This site’s so-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o cute that I keep misspelling my own name when I post here! I am *not* “Kathairne.” I’m *Katharine.*
Still want to touch kitty toesies!
Sorry to offend, Darcy. Didn’t mean to set off CO’s stupid meter.
They must be clean, that way you can nibble on them!
Ohhhhh…..man. This may or may not be my favorite rule.
urk… i may or may not still be breathing
pawpads are the best! i want to tickle them until kitty spreads her toesies, and then laugh!
Seeing these little cuties snuggling up together makes me very sleepy…and warm…and comfy… I just wish I were as cute as these two…
And those little pads are to die for!!!! *sigh*
Beans! Pink beans!!!!!
Awwwwww!!!!!! Cute snuggly wuggly lil’ kittens!!!!!!!
Now, loudly, everybody:
awwwwwwwwww I love jelly bean toes!
Pinky toes, pinly toes!!!
Oh man, 29 comments before me and no one has expressed a preference for or defense of cute dirty paw pads?
Not that I have a thing for dirty cat feet, I just assumed someone would. And would maybe be offended.
Y’know, Meg – Rule #18 was actually the one about having dainty paws. This is Rule # 19!
theo, your poster is yay
That is pawesome.
i love cat feet!
I can’t speak for anyone else, Wisefool, but the reason I don’t sleep like that is because you’d need a crowbar the next morning to pry my spine straight again. 🙂
Hee! I can’t get enough of this picture! I just want to rub my nose on the wittle toes and play with the wittle pawsies! :o)
Aw, mom, do I *really* need another bath?!? Look at how spotless my feet are!
I wish I were a kitty!!
Mmmmmmmmmm, lovely cats.
When my cat sleeps like that I can never stop myself from kissing and tickling his paws.
I have learned the hard way that fluffy paws have hidden razors, but there is no way I can stop it!
(I recall a crying kid yelling to her mom: Mommy, the kitten has needles in its mittens!)
Too darn adorable! I wuv wittle kiddies! See, they make me do baby talk, or in this case, baby text!
How cute…I just can’t help but rub the kitty paw against my cheek..
To bad that I am allergict to them…
Now every body… Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! That is such a cute couple of kittens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
looks like me & jack k. in the marning. when he’s feeling amicable. smuushable, that is.
i was just doing this this morning with my lil 5 yr old son in bed…so i KNOW cats feel the luuuuuuuv!
Pet feet – the BEST!
Only two cats could sleep like that…looks like it should be sort of painful.
hehe baby kitty all twisted like a pretzel
I propose a new rule: If the entire picture is filled with cat, it is cute!
“the kitten has needles in its mittens”
Actually I found a very effective and humane way to deal with this (don’t believe in declawing)… I found a wonderful product that caps my cats claws called Soft Claws. You just clip the tips and glue them on go, they even come in colors (very prosh). Neither one of my girls mind or seem to notice them and my furniture, clothes and skin are much happier for it (both girls are serious kneeders). The only thing you have to watch for is when they shed from wear. Overall my husband and I LOVE them and they are a humane way for us (cats, furniture & humans) to live happily together. My husband giggles and calls them kitty press ons…
Paddy paws! Pink ones, too! I can’t stand it, they’re so cute.
He’s eating him!!! noooo!!!
The tabby looks like my Lucy, aka Lucy Queen of the Universe, but she wouldn’t be caught dead snorgling. Below her dignity, dontcha know…
I get it now — I actually did gasp and feel delightfully lightheaded when I saw this photo!!
The cuteness is INTENSE! I wish I could shrink down to kitten size and join in the fun, so so so prosh!
I’m not addicted to exclamation points!!
Hey – who tied pink kitten into a knot???
Oh! That just looks like love incarnate!
AWWWWWW! That is just so pweshus…*melts*
Little pink marshmallow-soft toe pads!! Little pink nose! And a contented little half-smile, too!
Oi! Kitty love. That is *precious*. . .
And doesn’t that little guy look like our previous big-headed orange kitten sleeping on fleece, growned up a little: http://cuteoverload.com/2006/03/29/head_bigger_tha/
I know dog nails need to be exposed so they can be ‘filed’ on a daily basis by gravel, concrete etc. Do kitty ‘needles’ not need the filin’? or do they not grow beyond a certain length?
My kitty’s permanently filed so I had never gotten to know…
It is quite sad but she makes up for the lack of needley defenses by 1) stealing the yorkie’s food and becomes Monsta’ size Kitty and 2) acting purtty high and up there as some ole queen so no other kitties would ever dare oppose her.. 😉
to The Critters who wanna Tickle da Kitties –
I thought my ole yorkie would love ticklin’ as much as we do, but whenever I get close to her cute paddy paws she gets upset and snargles at me (ever so gently tho); she prefers the ticklin’ over/under her ears, by her neck… hehe
Anyone heard of the ’97 ways to make a dog smile’ book?
my fave ;9
even got the calendar to remind us ta begin the day w/ a cute doggie smile…
Unlike dogs whose nails will keep growing until they curl into the pad, cats claws reach a maximum (and very sharp length) and then shed naturally. Periodically I find claw slivers around my house, it doesn’t seem to bother the cats, their claws are sort of layered and designed to stop growing at a certain length. I get the feeling the anatomy goes along with the purpose of the claws, they are much finer and more razor-like than the nails of a dog. Personally I use clippers not for length but for damage contol, primarily to me, and then recap them. My mom’s dog however has been clipped by me once and I think I was more traumatized than he was, they are a whole different texture and MUCH more difficult than a cat. Cat’s really have a true claw for hunting and capturing, its their primary wepon/grip. Dogs, not so much, their weapon of choice would be teeth.
aaa I see, Great, Thanks for the info 🙂
Yes I was equally traumatized when I too first clipped Ms. yorkie’s nails. (Took me a couple of years to get over with it; it was to the groomers every so often since that awful day ;9)
Claws are important to cats, for one thing its their primary climbing tool and also away to explore their world around them (literally the scratch and sniff everything). Most cats I know rarely use their claws prefering either to avoid people until they are good and ready or simply snorgling and been content.
Can I be the first person to post a “honk-SHUUUUUUUUUUUUUU” comment here? 🙂
So warm and snuggly. I wish I could join them for a nap…
That was the most cute picture.
that black cat holding the little cat is EXACTLY EXACTLY like me cat at home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg like what are the chances of that?!?
