I am so sorry to hear about your dog’s passing. My pet canary died a few years ago. I didn’t know how much that bird wormed into my heart. I share your sense of loss. We have two dogs now age 4 and 8. I can’t imagine parting from them.

I lost my Maltese the day after Christmas, and I know exactly what you are going through. Know that someday soon you will meet again on the Rainbow Bridge. We love our pets so much…it breaks my heart to see them go. (((Tracy)))

I’m truly sorry for your loss… I’m sure she knew she was loved and will see you on the rainbow bridge someday.
Just remember that all dogs go to heaven. We recently lost our wonderful Westie of 13 years to similar complications 5 months ago, and I still think of her every day.

Thanks, everyone, for your kind words. Abby was my stepdog and was the longtime running buddy of my partner, whose blog was linked from the post. We miss her terribly and always will.
And thank you, Meg, for posting this. Talk about laughter through the tears when Nan saw this posted. This is our favorite site.
We lost three of our Lady Kitties in 14 months… I know how this kind of sorrow makes us wonder why we continue to have these lovelies in our lives…
But I can also tell you that in the 2 years since, we’ve repopulated our home with three more Kitties… We do this because we have so much love to give and because there are so many cute and furries out there who need homes…
I’m sorry for your loss, but know that there will be another lovely headed your way soon…
Abby, have a good trip to the Rainbow, and thank you for all of your years of love and laughs…

What a sweet photo – it is hard to say good-bye, isn’t it? Our furry family members bring such joy to our lives, but I bet we bring the same to theirs.
I can’t take it when pets die. It’s like…like…like your MOM dieing. I just wouldn’t be able to take it if mine died.

I am so sorry for the loss of Abby,it must be hard,but he is in a very good place.I have a Jack Russell Terrier,Scotty,he has a few problems,but he is very cute and I love him very much.I will miss him very much when he’s gone. I will try to post a picture later.
