dogs most always look so dejected once they are wet because someone else wanted them to be. let them run into the river/lake/ocean willingly and they’re happy as the fish!

Brown streaks are stains from the minerals found in tears. One can purchase little pretreated pads (like a stridex pad) to get the stains out.

It’s a poodle bichon mix…that was my last dog, and she looked exactly the same, down to the after-bath facial expression….I miss her.
