they absolutely are as noisy as those Igle things you mentioned. Hedgehogs used to come eat at the binbags beneath my bedroom indow when i lived in the town, and it sounded like a hoard of pigs eating another hoard of pigs alive.

My hedgie HATES the water. I need to bathe her a lot because she lost a hind leg with her previous owner and her little behind drags a bit. Whenever I put her in the sink her legs start moving like she wants to run, even though I am holding her by her belly and her feet aren’t on the ground! It’s so adorable in a “aww poor baby” way.
