My pet rat (yes, they’re cute too) actually enjoys exploring my shoes daily to find out what I’ve been up to. It’s awfully hard to get mad at him for chewing on the lining when he pops his little head out to say hi. Of course, I’d prefer he chew on his own shoes and let me chew mine, but…
